I was apprehensive about the effect of increased and stiff competition for fans and resources (Memphis is a relatively small and poor market), but it turned out that the Griz have had a net positive impact for the Tigers and the City of Memphis.

The initial skepticism was completely understandable but the Grizz and Tigers have been great partners.

James is the best of this era, but he is human and subject to the ravages of aging and the move to LA tells me that winning Titles is not on top of his agenda. I do not think he can carry a team on his back like in the past.

Last season, Cleveland won 50 games. The worse West team making the playoffs won 47 games. It is not a given to me that the Lakers earn a playoff spot.

I think the Lakers will make it. It was a team begging for a strong veteran presence and they got the best one. But you're right: the Lakers aren't in the top 6 of the league.

Adding LeBron instantly makes the Lakers a top 5 team. He can elevate a team like no one since Shaq and really Jordan.
