Like everyone is just focusing on getting ring the easiest way possible...not actually earning it. I barley watched the nba last year and i am probably gonna watch even less this year. This move officially ruined the league for a few years. I personally think the commish should have stepped in and stopped this signing. Im still gonna keep an eye on my celtics but after that the interests in almost none

If you aren't onboard for the inevitable center court fist fight between Draymond and Boogie, then I don't know what to tell ya. It will happen and I want to see it live.

I used to love the NBA.

I had season tickets with the Bobcats back when I lived in Charlotte. I absolutely LOVED that team, despite how bad they tended to be. My favorite starting 5 (from one of the years I had season tickets) was...

That was a damn fun team to watch, and they had the #1 ranked defense in the NBA.

all lebron had to do was sign was san anton and get kawhi back on board and the spurs would be the favorites. now he's just building hisself up for life after hoops. no way he's gonna field a team to compete with the spurs

I agree with this statement. It is an honor to be invited to the White House even if you think the President is a joke or awful human being.

I don't want my sports players playing politics...I want them playing sports.

Going to the White House because you won a sports championship is high on the list of stupid traditions that I'm glad is dying off.

No more of my time and money to Pro Sports. I'm done.

Every era in every sport has had a dominant team(s).

MLB: Yankees have won over 25 world series and dominated the first part of this century.

NBA: Boston, Los Angeles & Bulls -

Football: Green Bay, Dallas, Pittsburgh, 49ers and New England have won an overwhelming % of the 'ships over the last 50 years; Patriots m

NHL: the Canadians have won a ton of championships but other than the Islanders winning & Oilers winning for half a decade each in their prime, this has been the most equitable league in terms of wide number of teams that have won championships. Even nearer expansions teams have won like the Lightning, Avalanche...and almost the Golden Knights

College football: the top 25 looks a lot like it did 25/50 years ago

College basketball: it's a little more equitable, but the established bluebloods still rule the roost.

So in regards to Golden State, they are just a new dynasty.

BTW, DeMarcus Cousins hasn't made anyone better. New Orleans actually did better when he went down with injury.

Is college football any different nowadays?

Preseason predictions always seem to have Alabama or Ohio State...

The difference is that this President has personally attacked the players and injected politics where they didn't need to be. Players are now more vocal through social media a their voices used to be only heard through the sports media, which stayed away from politics. That has changed nowadays....right?



I think its a cool tradition it just a shame that its been politicized for the worse....like everything else nowadays. Remember, sports mirror society...so it should not be a surprise. If I were Trump I would cancel all future visits. He is in a no win situation as are the players. It has to be awkward for all involved. The next President can resume it if it makes sense...

I get it but it's just a show of class. Nobody's saying they have to join the president's social club or anything, just show up for a traditional event. I don't particularly care for Trump and I'd go. Even if you don't like him, it's an honor to meet the president.

I really have no problem with anything a free agent does, and I really don't care about NBA in general.. or in private for that matter.
