Anyway, before you talk about Coastal being a high school stadium, you should come back when our expansion and renovation is 100% complete and our capacity is 21k plus.

You single us out as a high school stadium but there are at least 3 stadiums in this conference that are not as nice as ours.

The pic used of Coastal’s stadium in the OP isn’t even close to up to date. Since that pic, we have fully expanded the upper deck of the home side, connected both sideline stands to the end zone stands in the corners for a complete horse shoe, and are currently erecting the upper deck on the visitor’s side and then the club suites go in.

It’s not a bad stadium. Too much aluminum for me though. It’s better than Ladd.

Cajuns sent out a fan inquiry to get a better idea of what the consumer wants in the stadium. The renderings look awesome. It’s a very comprehensive survey too.

I know people, even a lot of App Fans, bust on the aluminum used in KBS. The reality is that is much better for the climate in Boone than concrete. A look at the crumbling lower sections that were replaced in 1995 will convince you of that.

Not only that, but aluminum looks much better in my opinion.

Unless you’re pressure washing your entire stadium every single year, that concrete is going to look like trash really quickly.

I like the stadium in Boone. I don’t care for the aluminum end zone seats, the track, or the walk up to the stadium, but it’s my favorite outside of Troy.

To be fair... Coastal has a very nice stadium that doesn't look like a "high school" stadium if we're being realistic. I'm pretty sure no high school stadium I've ever seen in Alabama or even Florida looks like Coastal's.

Besides, Coastal is still fresh to FBS. Do you remember what the Vet looked in our first two years of FBS before the 2003 expansion?
