still say no one in the belt can touch this. no one has this nice of a endzone facility, 2 video boards let alone one of them being one of the largest in the G5. plus ribbon boards on both sides of the stadium. 6 story tall press box with 29 suits.

Troys stadium checks all the boxes but there is something just off about it, I am not really sure how to describe it. The endzone facility looks like it doesn't belong there and the rest of the stadium just looks aged. I have only seen pictures so maybe in person it comes off as charm. Texas State at least has that classic look you would expect to find at a college football stadium and everything looks like it belongs and fits together. GS stadium has the potential to be pretty awesome once the west side is redone and will be classy. App State's stadium is erector set city and I am not sure anything can change that.

Several people have mentioned our stadium being erector set so I have to point out that only one section is metal. Why is it ok for some stadiums to have concrete on steel beams like Troy, but our one deck with all metal is erector set? Coastal's stadium could be considered erector set as it's all metal, but it will still look great when full.

I do wish we would build a brick facade around the deck, but metal makes sense in our climate. Just look at the condition of the concrete in the lower sections for proof. I would also like a more symmetrical look, but I'm hopeful the north end zone facility will help in that regard.

Kidd Brewer has the prettiest setting in the Sunbelt and that can't be debated. It's nestled into a mountain side. [Image: 3ea8eb856f82ec5efe4dd537621791bc.jpg][Image: 5318d738825ccfe6e7bec0c13bfa5fc7.jpg]

It could be debated if NMSU was still in the Sun Belt. They have actual mountains surrounding their stadium

Those mountains at NMSU aren’t that close to the stadium.

Close enough to add to the scenery from the seats

I could never live near mountains that reminded me every day of Kandahar.

Our AD said at media day today the new video boards going in will be 5x the size of the previous video boards.

That addresses what was probably the biggest current negative with our stadium.

It could just be the pic but the arches aren't centered with the field and that bothers me

In that picture the arches are not 100% complete

Not sure what’s aged about it as the press facility looks newer than Texas states. (Theirs is pretty small) only thing that really might have age is the upper deck could use some pressure washing. That’s it really.

This pic was taken before the arches were painted to match the other colors in the stadium. The top of the facility also still has a lot of construction.

The Organ Mountains east of Las Crucis are believed to be about 32 million years old. Babies by geological standards. The Blue Ridge Mountains are between 400 million and 1.1 BILLION years old.

Get on our level.

Rocky Mountains 40-170 million years old. Which means the Rockies are our ***** too.

PS. You can tell times are getting lean when this is what we're debating. Hahaha.

I drove up to Centennial Bank Stadium yesterday. The end zone addition is going to really change the look on the inside. The work containing the water feature looks about finished. The tunnel walls are up and the base for the seats are poured. When finished it will really improve the look. Neither end zone will have an open look. That is something we have needed for a long time. Sorry no pics. Didn't cross my mind until I left.
