How did you come up with this?

Its just a prediction based on becoming frustrated that he has not gotten close to any of these bigger openings. I get this feeling he believes the Illinois budget situation is one he can no longer work with to do his job. If the right fit opens up in the Sun Belt, in a part of the country he obviously has great affinity for, I think he bolts at the end of this football season. I am not sure what ADs are in hot water in the Sun Belt, or what ADs will be at the end of this football season

Think about it, all the people that HE brought in that have no left under him because the culture was just so bad.....Tim Rice, Chris Radford, Mark Muhlhauser, Kristin Gobberg, John Faso, Jonathan Jick, Jerome Rodgers, Eric Schultz, Jay Vickers, Morris White. I've been told that staff just hate it there and it's evident by all the "higher" up people leaving so fast. That large guy that came with him from Wisconsin, Ryan Sedevie, is probably the most unpersonable person there that I've talked to. My buddy told me Alvarez told Sean to take him with him when he came!

I think NIU is better off if Sean leaves....but he's stuck there because of his reputation and ALLL the jobs he's been up for and hasn't gotten. Bad pattern to be in. I'll always be an NIU supporter, but may back off on my financial support. He's going to be here for a while.

LOL

This is silly. Staff didn't leave because of their hate for leadership. DeKalb sucks and most got better jobs. Backing off support because of rumors is the most message board thing ever.
DeKalb does not suck.

Let's welcome both "grassisalwaysgreener" and "logicalhuskie" on their FIRST posts.

Someone in the Sunbelt will take him, that's all we can hope for at this point. And whoever replied to you is dead wrong, he does treat people like complete crap. Is anyone at NIU even evaluating Frazier and holding him accountable for his job performance. I think he pretty much as free reign at this point

Unless he and/or his agent does a good sell job, I think STF will bet at NIU for a while. He can always say that he had these grandiose plans that were hampered by the state budget crisis. He can even use this excuse for fundraising in that he could not raise funds and start projects during the years when there was no budget and the state universities were forced to cut.

Frazier's unwillingness to evaluate coaching positions was part of his "red zone" offense , short term career plan. Making coaching changes would have hurt his short term career plans. However, that neglect may end up costing him in the long run. He should have played it like he was starting at his own 20 yard line. He checked out a long time ago, and I fear you are right, unless he takes a slight demotion to Sun Belt , he will be here as long as noone is evaluating his performance

I’m enjoying this warring brouhaha between a current employee and ex-employee.

Prediction: both of these posters worked together and know each other. And likely hate each other’s guts.

I don't think so, above poster used complete sentences.

I'm fairly sure I saw the same "grassisgreener" post in May and then it "ahem"...."disappeared". (Read Mods...)

It's either that or I'm having "deja vu" all over again....
