This one's my fav:

Plan your exit strategy

It's time to start planning your exit strategy. I'm planning mine. There is the old quote "Why would you want to join a club that doesn't want you?" and now it's time. Plan well, plan for the long term because they are playing the long game on this one and at this point America is done. No joke folks, no more hope for Mueller or the blue wave. Done. Putin, the Kochs, the Mercers, McConnell, etc. - they won. It's just stupid to be thinking otherwise at this point.

Explore your options and push your boundaries - unless you want to live under the latest version of the Nazi regime.

RE: Kennedy Retires
I was worried about this and I've been pretty consistent that the SC is the #1 reason I voted for Clinton. I'm surprised some of you are thinking they will never touch Roe vs. Wade, and I'm also surprised some of you aren't demanding they do based on your opinions on pro-life. Based on what I'm hearing though, if they do try to overturn Roe vs. Wade, the earliest it would likely happen is 2020.

I'll try to be reasonable here. First, I do think that they will have a nominee in place in the fall and will do everything they can to get the vote done before midterm elections. It would be huge for the Democrats if they could somehow get that Senate vote after November but knowing how poor that party is run these days, I doubt it will happen.

In 2016, I might have had a smidgen of hope that Trump would nominate a moderate. I have no hope of that anymore. I do think if he nominates another Gorsuch, then perhaps Flake, Corker and McCain vote no, but I'd only put those odds at best at about 33 percent.

While this is disappointing news, Kennedy lately has been voting with the conservative bloc. So kind of like what happened with Obama, it still doesn't greatly change the make-up of the SC other than to replace an older conservative with a younger conservative.

And by the way, Trump might be under some pressure not to nominate another white male. Just saying....

Can they elaborate on what they are "escaping"? Is it the higher wages, lowest unemployment in history, booming economy, or the money pouring into their 401K's?

WHY, would Trump nominate a moderate, when Obama nominated hard line leftists?

RE: Kennedy Retires
Because back in 2016, not everyone was truly convinced Trump was conservative. He was a democrat not too long ago.

If you read my comment, I said I no longer expect him to nominate a moderate.

But it wasn't that long ago when presidents tended to replace justices with fairly similar folks of the same ilk. Obama replaced Souter with Sotomayor, and Stevens with Kagan. Neither nominee shook up the court's balance all that much. If Kennedy had retired 12 years ago say under Bush, he probably would have been replaced with another moderate.

Just saying stupid stuff.

Roberts will not vote to overturn Roe v. Wade. Alito most likely won't either.

Sotomayor is almost as far left as Ginsburg. Souter was only slightly to the left of Kennedy. W. would have tried to appoint another Roberts/Alito.

Trump needs to appoint someone like Gorsuch because Thomas is likely the next to retire. Ginsburg will insist on dying in office.

He'd be a GREAT SC Justice. But, unless the GOP owned the Senate Crying Chuck Schemer and his fellow Demons would die first before they'd agree to it.

Well, yeah, because they're racist anti-semites.

But he would be great!

Interesting this:

Lobby Corker, McCain, and Flake

This is an opportunity for these three to stand up for democracy and not allow Trump to put another right-wing extremist on the SC. If only two of them side with Democrats, ny appointment could be delayed at least until after the November election.

Abortion needs to be an issue for each state to decide. I hope that's the outcome of the new & improved Orange Supreme Court.

Now that it apepars Trump will select 2 SC Justices, its even more clear that all the "Never Trumpers" are absolute ignorant childish morons for this reason alone. Imagine if their infantile temper tantrum had succeeded. The well known "Never Trumpers" among us should never have a major voice in the party's future again. They obviously do not have the party's or the nation's best interests in mind when they speak.

I have voted in every presidential election since I was old enough to vote. I seriously considered sitting the last election out. I knew I would never vote for Killary in a hundred years but didn't know if I could pull the lever for Trump, even up to Election Day. It was the Supreme Court that pushed me to go ahead and vote for Trump and I'm glad I did. His effect on the Court will last for decades beyond his time in office.

PS. A great side benefit of Trump's election has been watching liberal's heads explode on a weekly basis. 03-nutkick

lol. Ive said it before on several occasions---Trump was not my guy---but, once it became clear a Supreme Court Justice appointment (a lifetime appointment no less) was on the table---it seemed clear to me this just wasnt the time to make a protest vote. Btw, I never thought Trump would be terrible (just thought Kasich was better prepared for the job). Frankly---Ive been pleasantly quite pleased with Trump so far.

Once again - and I am speaking against both sides with this statement, everybody is busy trying to tell everybody else how to live their life and make decisions for them.

The abortion thing is a tough one I can see both sides of the argument and I think the decision should be left to each individual - they are the ones who have to wake up and look at themselves in the mirror. It is probably one of the two non-republican views I hold as an overall conservative. My other non-republican view is on LGBT - I DON'T care as long as you don't throw it in my face. Do what you need to do to be happy - just don''t be "look at me" about it.

BUT - here is my bigger point.

DJT may be pulling off the biggest economic coup EVER - follow along. He is making the libs so nervous and uptight that these people are truly contemplating leaving the country.

If you cut out 25M or 30M people off of the SSN and Medicare Payroll - BANG! SSN/Medicare problem solved! What am I missing?
