If there was ever an athlete that deserved the extra year, she is the one. Remarkable the NCAA did the right thing.

Yes, track only. I knew she was listed as a junior but saw no confirmation until yesterday.

anybody know if she gets tuition and board as an athlete for all 6 years. I know she is now in grad school - so she will probably be able to finish up grad school the same time her track eligibility ends. Not even sure if track athletes get full scholarship money/benefits or if they are doled out in percentages. A lot of times the athletes are also eligible for other scholarship money based on grades, etc.

Don't know about the 6th year, that's a good question.

As to the other track is an equivalency sport. D1 Women have 18 total scholarships that can be divvied up across outdoor/indoor track and cross country athletes. I assume most all only get partial scholarships.
