While he wasn't the President (thank God!) I did consider it an honor to meet Al Gore while working a detail when he was campaigning here in SC. He cut some jokes with us and was actually more friendly than Dick Cheney was when I met him a few years later in much the same way.

But I have to say that I absolutely would not have met with Obama, at least not after he started his entire anti-law enforcement rhetoric and basically pissed on the graves of the five Dallas officers killed by the BLM terrorist by making a campaign speech out of the memorial. I honestly at this point wouldn't piss on him if he were on fire.
