Exactly... which is why the unemployment rate steadily dropped during the 8 years of President Obama’s tenure.
I think the only person who got dumber over the past decade was you. Must be about to start drawing Social Security.

No. Unemployment dropped (but not "steadily," see paragraph below) under Obama because he took over just as a recession bottomed out. In that situation unemployment is going to drop significantly unless government does something to hinder that. And there is some reason to believe that Obama's policies made the recovery slower, and therefore kept unemployment higher than it would have been without those policies.

Plus, you will note from the graph that unemployment didn't really start to drop until republicans retook the house and began to rein in some of Obama's most extreme policies.

Nothing ever really happens until the Republicans take over.03-lmfao

I of course was not an Obama fan. Never did I have the hate for him the left has for Trump. Looking back, it was a blessing he never accomplished anything positive, so I didn't have to make a jackazz out of myself here trying to diminish his achievements when he actually did do something positive for this country like Trump has already done in less than two years in office.

I'm literally laughing out loud at certain posters here....

They post a chart to try and prove something about 'the left' and then when people point out the details in their chart that prove something about 'the right', they act as if the chart they produced (or using it) is partisan

RE: Sour Pelosi; ‘Strong employment numbers mean little’
When Obama left office in January 2017 the workforce participation rate among 25-54 year olds was 81.4%. It's now 81.9%. So you have the double whammy of lower unemployment with higher participation. When Obama took office the rate was 82.9% and bottomed out at just over 80%. That nearly 3% drop in participation by the core demographic of America's workforce helped Obama's numbers more than anything he did.

In this case it clearly didn't. Look at the chart.

And I'm not a republican.

It's worked well for them since about 1964.
