Good luck in getting in the rest of the tournament. I still think CUSA blew it big time and for them to even be in Biloxi today is not only stupid, it's downright dangerous. I mean the city is under a tropical storm watch for goodness sakes. The American Athletic Conference figured out a way to get its tournament in a day early. USM should be fine - they'll be able to drive back to Hattiesburg. But how in the world are FAU and Charlotte going to get home - especially if they have to play a 2 pm game today. At least FAU and USM are in the tournament - Charlotte could possibly get in one game today (doubt they get in 2 today without serious delays) and then if the tournament ends up not being finished, they ended up doing all that for naught. Oh well, they'll probably end up wasting a bunch of money they don't have for no reason. It's just a TS and not a hurricane so not too dangerous I guess.

Another glorious comeback, I guess. Even I, who is no baseball fan, found this game (and the previous game) riveting. I found myself, at 3 A.M. still glued to my PC watching the game into the extra innings.

Nm looked it up. Game is on cbs sports network at 2. I'll dvr and watch later. Will have to avoid the internet now. Go Owls!

I guess they moved up the 1st game to 9 am today - wonder if they told anyone that? Anyway, USM is cruising 6-0 in the 7th already. Looks like USM and FAU will play for the title - it's supposed to begin at 1 pm I guess but you may as well move it up to noon if you can if you ask me.

#1 Southern Miss (42-16) vs. #3 FAU (40-16) for the CUSA Championship. USM will be the home team.

Southern Miss regular season and Conference Tournament Champions. Well done Eagles. Good luck to the FAU team in their Regional.

We were generally the best team in the conference all season. It's nice to cap it off with the regular season and conference championships.

On To regionals.

Congrats to FAU on a really good game and season. Go give the Florida Gators hell...im sure they will send y'all there as a #3 seed.

Also, congrats to La Tech, Charlotte, and UAB on solid seasons. I think you guys are all gonna be tough outings next year and left a lot to build on going into the '19 season. We really need 3-4 teams ranked all throughout the season next year so we can start improving the conference as a whole.

Congrats to FAU & USM. Superior play all the way, and both teams "ran thru the tape" until it was over. No quit from these two.

Your team played their butts off to try and win that tournament so a legendary coach could have one more visit to the NCAA's. Make no mistake, Rice baseball is the King of CUSA baseball. The history of coach Graham is a record of excellence few can come close to matching. Best of luck to your Owls in this next era of Rice baseball. It is an honor to share this league in baseball with the Rice Owls.
