Its all rainbows and sunshine before the season begins for most of the fanbases but when teams hit the field dreams come crashing down most of the times esp during the first game of the season.
I don't see any link between the QB and an NFL chance. Not that it wont happen, but he would be on the radar, correct? The WR looks legit.
I suspect our DL will give your OL a lot of fits. It is a really good and deep DL.
I wouldn't expect a ton out of a DE as a true freshman. He looks like an ok mid major recruit with 1 P5 offer, but thats quick to expect him to compete at the FBS level.

These are valid responses. Buckshot is a junior so this will be the year he starts getting graded. Most project round 5-7, he has a couple of NFL scout, profiles but I would expect those to increase this season. AGG was listed as a top 50 WR for this year and was low because of being FCS. Y’alls dline is good but I don’t think ODU will control the oline. Our true freshman I don’t think will be an all American I was just stating the talent level is much higher. As to the last question it was pretty simple. Last year was a wash. I would have liked us to play better but injuries and an inability to stop the run is what cost us. Those should be better this year. All around we will be better and I suspect we will at a minimum be in the game in the 4th.
I'm putting the O/U at 150 yards for Cox and 250 total and 3.5 sacks for OX and 5 total.
Remember when everyone was talking trash? Anyone want to stand by their bashing? ODwho? In all seriousness I enjoyed it but it does feel good to shut up a lot of your guys fan base.

You are right on point. ODU fans don't know how to give credit where credit is due or how to lose with class. You out classed us and beat our ass in your 1st year as FBS. You have top notch facilities and an OUTSTANDING student section. Congrats ! You are well on your way to becoming the BYU of the East. You have a Strategic vision that will work long term.

The QB and WRs are excellent.
We lost to a good team. For gosh sake they beat Baylor last year. I don't care how bad Baylor was.
It remains to be seen if the Flames rush defense is that good or our rush offense is not nearly as good as we expected.
Our D-line was not as dominant as I expected, so that remains a question as well.
However there is little doubt that our QB play was not good, and our play calling/game plan was haphazard at best.
Had we played up to what I believed our potential is, IMHO, we still don't win the game,

I did have fun but the fans storming the field was idiotic. You beat a no name team (compared to a good P5 school). I cannot fathom why you’d storm the field for that win.
