Yes, but in this case he's not wrong. Even blind squirrels occasionally find a nut.

Because southern, white social conservatives in the 1860’s were anti-slavery and pro-Lincoln?03-lmfao

What??

If you want to pretend that the Democratic southern slave owners of 1860 would socially align with the labor supporting Democratic Party of 2016 then you're a "kanye", which is my new term for idiot.

I would say you are the one who is ignorant not realizing the progressive political machine has the same outcome in mind as the slave owning democrats of the south. Just a different Master.

Kanye Tweets About Democrats Being The Party Of Slavery And The Left Explodes
(05-02-2018 08:43 AM)WKUApollo Wrote:  Here's his exact quote:

"When you hear about slavery for 400 years. For 400 years?! That sounds like a choice. Like, you were there for 400 years and it's all of you all? You know, it's like we're mentally in prison. I like the word prison 'cause slavery goes too -- too direct to the idea of blacks," he said in the interview. "So prison is something that unites us as one race, blacks and whites being one race. We're the human race."

He didn't say that a person who was a slave "chose" to be a slave. When I saw his quote, I felt he was talking about how folks today continue to use the history of slavery as a way to continue keeping blacks down.....i.e....they "choose" to live with that mentality.... In essence, he's "choosing" not to live with that mentality.

You get it

After reading it I tend to view it that way as well. More a mental thing. Of course, pretty sure the MSM doesn't see it that way especially since it's anti-establishment. Its followers will follow without given much critical thought.
