Do you not agree that we can have a successful streak without the number 1 player in the nation? There are around 350 schools per year that dont get the #1. Some even win championships...

Disclaimer: I absolutely hope we DO get him. Not trying to say anything otherwise.

I, too, hope like crazy that we get him. But yeah, the #1 kid is always a looooonnnggg shot.

Research idea...Which was the last team to win a national champ with the #1 recruit in the country?
