My perspective is a little different that some.
I get the admin's potential position that Brown is too big a risk.
I get Penny's wish to have a legend on staff.
So, my take is ambivalent, I don't care what the answer is, I do care that the admin / Penny are on the same page and that a clear decision is made, in good faith and good communication, either way.
If Brown is here, great let's roll.
If it's someone else, lots of other great X/O HCs out of work, let's get one and let's roll.
I care less what the answer is.
I care a great deal that the answer is made quickly, decisively, and well.
