Remember when Porter did this...
The committee (vice Nolan Richardson) interviewed assistant Mike Anderson and Arkansas-Little Rock coach Porter Moser on Monday.

So, what's your point? That Moser shouldn't have interviewed for the job, or what? He would have been a fool not to interview for it if asked!

When Dickie Nutt interviewed up there he lost the entire ASU fan base (or, at least, the one's he hadn't already lost). I guess, Porter just lost me.

Your reasoning just amazes me! Totally irrational, especially for a guy who makes a living dealing with irrational individuals. You've hated Porter Moser ever since he left Little Rock, just like a jilted boyfriend or something! Same thing with Beard!

Dickey Boy was coming off a crap season and had zero chance of being hired. It was a courtesy interview to appease a donor who was a good sized donor of AState but a significant UAF donor. It was just a shot to remind everyone that they could hire anyone in the state whenever they wanted.
If he had had a chance there would have been less blowback.

Obviously Moser getting an interview was the same thing. He never finished higher than 5th in the Sun Belt while he was here. Apparently, he did learn quite a bit as an assistant under Rick Majerus. Majerus was a great basketball mind.

Speaking of Dickie Boy, I heard he was an assistant coach at Florida State. Pretty impressive. Then I looked at the FSU website. He is the team's "video coordinator". Isn't that a position usually held by graduate students or 22 year old coaches who are just starting their careers?

Supposedly he does video scouting taking notes on upcoming teams and notes on past FSU games.
My theory is he is the guy who goes to Redbox and pops the popcorn.

Probably correct, but actually a little sad. Doesn't appear that ASU fans have much empathy for him, however.
