Hard to argue with him.

No idea WTH happened to actual operational budget(s), the dozen appropriation bills that had to be passed one at a time.

Now we just get these behemoth dumpsters where Swamp critters can stick all kinds of crap in there. Not a single one of them have read this entire monstrosity.

Just begs for abuse. 03-yawn

700 Billion dollars in military spending. That is ridiculous and wasteful. What happened to the 600 Billion plus that was spent last year. Or the year before or the year before that. Could you imagine what kind of road and rail system America would have it we just spent only one years worth of that type of spending on it.

The problem is that we are putting so much effort into no-win, no-matter wars in the Middle East. We actually are not maintaining a military force that is capable of meeting all the other demands we place on it. We need to spend smarter.

Not sure if you’re suggesting go nuke or not, I wouldn’t be in favor of that either. Ever.

BUT. If we’re f#%^*ing going in, GO IN!

A-holes? Here we come, buckle up, hombres! We coulda been in and out of Iraq in weeks, not years.

Love him or hate him, I’ve known both, but H.W. drove the highly touted “Republican Guard” into the ground in a couple weeks and 100 hours on the ground.

Problem is/was he didn’t finish the job then. Cost him his job instead.

Either get after it like we mean it, or don’t go in at all. We’ve learned nothing since 1945 or so...

We don’t really disagree here I don’t think.

My point is simply we have “conventional” schit now that rivals that of Hiroshima. At least if we rain it down as we now can.

We’re no longer putting P-31’s or B-29’s on a flattop and waiting weeks for them to get within range, we can deliver that package in hours, instead.

I’m not in favor of these decades long “wars”, where we have no end in sight. Rather we just stayed out.

But, again, if we’re going in, daisy cutter, MOAB, whatever means necessary. Then get out.

Let’s face it, we coulda dispensed with these ISIS azzholes in a couple of weeks if we wanted/decided to.

Going nuke just cracks the door WIIIIIDE open to all sorts of bad actors. We’ve got a big enough stick without going there.

completely agree.....but he won't

that would be a major coup if he did relative to #swamp....which he also ran on (increase military spending)

if he signs this one, like the tariff move, I'm not going to be happy.....

Yea, we’re on the same page.

Maybe not the same paragraph or sentence, but the same page.

Now, of course, if fat boy decides to “escalate”, well then. Yea. Glass parking lot time...

We need to stop empire building and bring everyone home. Screw the United Nations. Let the world go into chaos if it has to. We should be focused on domestic and regional issues. Let China and Russia deal with the middle east for a few decades.
