Shocking
I was thinking milo.
When I had Kansas as my territory for work, the folks around Emporia like to ask me if I hunted. Which made me wonder where they hunted because there’s like no trees or forests there. They must be hunting somewhere because they sent me home made jerky. I guess they can talk about jerky as well.
Kansas is usually #1 or #2 for deer hunting in the nation. They suicide themselves constantly on our highways. It's worse than kangaroos in Australia.

I actually think every Shocker fan is blaming our team. Which is what we’ve been doing all year but we were told over and over again it was just the conference.
It's the conference. All those losses shook your confidence. This is the same team, and same coach (your best in history), a year older, that won a NCAAT game and almost beat Kentucky. No excuse for somehow falling apart, other than the obvious.
The obvious is losing one of the best X’s and O’s guys in the country to New Mexico State.
Marshall can't handle Xs and Os?
Gregg Marshall is first and foremost a recruiter - probably the best in the country. If he stays in Wichita, we'll likely be the biggest and longest in the conference and then he'll do his thang. His second greatest strength is his motivational talents. He can convince sane young men to run through walls for him. Gregg is not a major strategist, he wins with depth and athleticism - pounding opponents on the boards and with smothering defense.
This is why Shocker fans are so shocked this year. The team we've all witnessed is nearly the antithesis of a Gregg Marshall team - high scoring (pretty) and soft.

Better players can cover up X’s and O’s disadvantages. Obviously.

I've always heard that Brownell is a great X and O guy. Jans is as well but all things being equal between the coaches it comes down to execution and who has more talented players and Clemson did.

Brownell is great. He was at Wright State before he went to Clemson. Always enjoyed watching his teams play.

I got a question for Wichita people, and I don't feel like starting a thread for it and this seems like the thread for random questions of our wheat shockin' friends.
I'm watching the Kansas-Seton Hall game and with every shot of the Kansas fans they look like the worst Walmart/t-shirt fanbase possible. Confirm/deny?

In Wichita they’re all t-shirt fans. In KC and JoCo they’re actually KU grads who think their degree is worth more than one from Harvard and don’t consider Wichita to be in the state of Kansas.

I think I've seen maybe one person on my Facebook feed consistently talk about KU games this year. Now this weekend its like 50 people with "RCJH .. let's go boys" crap. Nearly all have never been to college. It's all the people that ended up with multiple kids in HS or shortly after

There's lots of t-shirt fans up there too.

He sure is proud of dominating his weak ass conference. The rest of them love it because its one less school to worry about in the most important sport.

Since Lomax lives with Penny, do you all really think Marshall and Penny don't have some kind of relationship?
