He was homeschooled and presumably wrote this blog in his first months of attending school with persons outside his worldview. For someone with his background, these views aren't really that surprising. For the record, it appears that if, anything, the bombings appeared to target African Americans more so than LGBT persons or Abortion supporters. Heck, it could turn out that he ended up being some sort of radical liberal, although that doesn't seem too likely at this point.

Just a snippet on this one. I'm sure we shall figure out more as time goes on, but we will probably never get to his real motivation. Id love to find out how he learned to build bombs and where he go the materials at this point.
Interested in how you reach the conclusion related to the bold above. Also, did't he also kill a couple of white guys? I thought the race baiting with this was over.
Here's the deal. If you grow up in and around Austin or live there for a long time, you know neighborhoods. The first 3 were left on doorsteps in a specific area of Austin - East - 80% minority neighborhoods. Individuals picked them up and died.
To say one could not draw conclusions to it being a hate crime, of some sort, after those doesn't make you myopic. Again, they were left on doorsteps.
In fact, when the first man died (a TXST alum FWIW) they decided it was a suicide (because people routinely mail packages to themselves to blow themselves up) and the family buried their father, son, brother, with that conclusion by APD. It wasn't until the teen died, his mother and the Hispanic woman injured, that they started to connect the dots.
That's when this guy moved on to a more upwardly mobile, mixed development in SW Austin........without a specific target. It could have been kids for crap's sake. To think Austin Country was lily white is a falsehood.
Now, we have no idea where the package at the FedEx facility, nor the one at ABIA were headed. That may make the whole thing circular or even more random but we're (the public) not going to know.
So don't "ride" anyone that may have had those initial thoughts of hate crime.
