If all true...not necessarily the above but about Hardaway becoming our head coach...hard to imagine a kid who played at Treadwell, was active in local youth programs as a youth and as an adult, stayed at Memphis to play college ball when the world was available to him, coaches Memphis area kids in elite programs and continues to coach East High School, an iconic Memphis high school, as a labor of love for his friend who passed from cancer not having that added level of passion needed to inspire kids to want to play here.

Let alone this...

Penny played for another Memphis High School legend who because a University legend...named Larry Finch. And I would guess Penny has even more connections...as Larry landed Perry and Penny and Wright and a handful of other local high profile kids.

Laird and AA are not candidates. But AA will have a outside roll. Penny wants all former tigers to promote the program.

I heard no boos in the Forum this season... when we saw the worst BB I've ever seen there. Sometimes you could hear nothing at all.

What progress has Tubby made? Next year we might have an NIT team, and the year after that back to square one? He has no one coming in and the bulk of the team will be gone. That's really what you want for Tiger Basketball?

That was not the worst season of basketball by any means. Watching all that talent from previous years not doing sh*t or more accurately not bothering to really do everything possible was much worse than watching this group of guys give their absolute heart and soul. That was a program culture change that was needed to make any progress back to where we hope to finally be. We had gotten soft and no matter the talent level we were at least tough and gritty this season. That was the start and the hardest part. Now lets see if we can keep it when the dust settles.
