Shockers lose to Nebraska 10-9 in 10. Now 8-1 on the year but the old problems are popping back up.

Had a 7-2 lead thanks to another grand slam by Bohm and couldn't get it done. Bullpen is still as pathetic as ever.

Our 8-1 is nothing but fluff I'm afraid.

I bet Cold wishes he didn't run on over to this one. Not a good day for him.

Gene is back so maybe he's operating Butler via remote control. Best explanation for the sudden eruption of competence that I can think of.

UH being outscored this weekend 26-7 and there's still time for Vanderbilt to put more on the board. About to go 0-3 at the Astros College Classic.

Trending in the wrong direction.

Big freaking game!

Midweek games outshining upcoming weekend series the next couple of weeks. A home-home with the Gayturds this week, a single game with Miami next week, and two against the Noles in Tallahassee the following week. Huge RPI opportunities. So much so that Lovelady shifted the rotation to put our ace into those games. We didn't play very well in the first two games against Wagner, so hopefully the team will take Siena and Chicago State seriously during the next 2 weekends.

Feels like we been hoodwinked. All they hype, the preseason ranking in some polls... beating an even more over-rated CS Fullerton team... all conspired to make us Coog fans think we were gonna make some noise this year on the diamond. The only noise I heard were the bats swinging like rusty gates out there.

We Coog'd It bad this weekend.
