Yeah we crumbled for the first time all season but the wind did not help.

Damn. My bad, I didn't see this until just now.

If I'd seen it earlier I would have passed your message on to the Coogs.

Alas, because I did not tell them, the Coogs did not make us proud.

I didn't get to see the game but sounds like today's loss was a total team loss. Everyone contributed.

I couldn't watch the end of the ninth. Let's hope that was a blip. We just cracked the top 25 and we need to go at least 2-2 this week to stay there. I know polls are not as important as end of the season results, but polls and the attendant media attention help from a recruiting perspective.

We’ll go 3-1 I think. Pepperdine just murdered St Joseph’s 11-2 today and seem to be legit. Likely a postseason team this year.

Pepperdine smashed St Josephs today 11-2. Pepperdine seems to have found their offense this weekend.

Hopefully the Pirates will show up in game 2 and take it out on the Bears of Missouri State.

We started 8-0 last year and finished like 10 games below .500 from the weakass Valley.

6 of our wins are against nobodies. Nebraska was picked 2nd in the Big Ten so I guess this would be a decent series win.

I'm gonna withhold judgment til we play a team with a pulse, which may not be until ECU at the end of the month.

Tough loss by the Pirates tonight. I think the cold weather combined with the wind kind of chilled off the Pirates. Need a W against St Josehps to salvage the weekend.

Wow. Ucf came back from 8 runs down to win tonight.

Scored 8 runs in the bottom of the eighth to do it too.

UCONN loses Game 2 @ North Florida, 6-5. Gave it away with dumb errors late in the game.

Game 3 today decides the series.

Gene is back so maybe he's operating Butler via remote control. Best explanation for the sudden eruption of competence that I can think of.

After I took a breath when the basketball game ended, I checked on UC's baseball game.

UC beat UT-Martin 6-3 to take the series 3 games to 1. UC is now 6-5 on the year.

MSU beat Pepperdine 8-7 in the final non-ECU contest of the Keith Le-Clair Classic.

ECU plays its final game of the classic against St Josephs today @ 3:30pm. Pirates lose this they go 0-3 for the classic.

6-5 for the Cats

HECK UV A lot better than last year at this time...or the year before. Can't remember. One year we started like 1-11 or some such.

UCONN with boneheaded back-to-back games, losing the series @ North Florida, 2-1. So many dumb errors in Game 2 and 3. Huskies now 5-4 and will (much deserved) lose their Top 25 ranking.
