I'm not the only one who saw the game for what it's worth. In the closing comments, the stadium color commentator pretty much told WKU not to take too much from this game as ODU played very poorly and WKU just shot uncharacteristically well.

ODU Fans I am glad you are part of CUSA and I am old enough to remember when we were in the original sunbelt together.
Its great that MTSU, WKU, ODU and Marshall are making the top of CUSA good again.

I just hope CUSA gets 2 teams in the NCAA and 1 in thee NIT. There is no
doubt we deserve 3 in the post season this year.

Yesterday Joe Lunardi said he does not like the trend of the committee putting in more .500 teams in from the power 5 over the mid majors.

Ron Hunter was on sports radio here in Atlanta the other day an said at large invites to the ncaa for non power leagues are disappearing

Good luck to all CUSA teams to win in the ncaa or nit. CUSA has won our first game in the ncaa tourney the last 3 years.

We also beat Perdue and SMU on a neutral court. Not many teams can say that. Only had 7 players when we did it. Every team has some clunkers.

I know the SMU win doesn't seem as good as it was then looking at where SMU is now but they have been beset by injuries and somewhat ironically now only have 7 scholarship players available.

Had a great time in Diddle Saturday night, this team has been one of the most memorable, fun teams I have watched in a long time...We were rolling!

I saw their record after I posted but then noticed the reason for their demise. They would have been a force to b reckoned with otherwise.

Totally agree with you. Been going since '69 and must say this is one of my all time favorites. 70-71 team is still my favorite team but this years is up there.

I think ODU and Western are two relatively evenly matched teams. Western is not 25 poitns better than ODU. Having said that WKY played really well Saturday night and were on fire out of the gates and ODU was not able to recover. Its safe to say WKY and MTSU are better teams than we are. Im hoping the team was just gassed from a somewhat emotional atmosphere in West Virginia (and maybe they were up late scrubbing germs)

I do like all 3 teams are in for a dogfight in the conference tourney and are head and shoulders above the rest of the conference. Though, MTSU is still the class of the conference.

Good luck in the rest of the games. Hopefully, the FBI stuff comes out after the season and not in the thick of things.
