Senior Night vs. Towson
Last home game of the season. I have to say I've been pleasantly surprised by our season so far. It's great to see a team live up to their potential, and we are in a good position to get back to the NCAA's next month.
This will be the last game for our lone senior, Devon Begley. If I could describe him with one word, it would be fearless. From the moment he joined the Huskies, he was not afraid to drive to the basket. He is creative, and has good offensive awareness. Sometimes he gets out of control, and I think that's why he never really became a focal point of our offense, but his contributions have been timely and important. And of course he is a great asset on the defensive side of the ball.
Thank you Devon Begley!
For the game itself, let's take it to Towson and make a statement that we are to be feared in the CAA tournement.
On a side note, things have to be looking up for the Huskies next season. We only lose our 7th/8th option on the court to graduation. With CoC losing Chealey, we will probably be the CAA favorite next season. Anyway, there will be plenty of time to think about that come off season. For now, let's beat Towson!

Devon has given me heartburn on more than a few occasions with his carelessness with the ball, but he’s been a good player for us, but he could have been so much better.
We replace Begley with the transfer G from George Washington Jordan Roland.
Let’s win these two games a let’s see what happens in N. Charleston.

I think you clinched it for us when it was obvious that you were going to win your game. If you lost both your games (and some other things happened) Hofstra could've moved past us. I didn't start enjoying our game until it was obvious that you were going to win. Anyway, on to the tourney. Looks like you guys are back on track.

I don’t know about the as always part, but thanks.
Hold on to your hats in N. Charleston, because it’s going to be a wild ride for that title!

Plus, Anthony and Tomas still have a lot of upside....not to mention the three freshmen who there was no available playing time for.
