Correct.

And it looks like UTSA has a pretty good shot at jumping Marshall for the 4 seed. They are one game back but own the tiebreaker and face Rice/NT as opposed to UAB/MT for Marshall.

Thanks.

Looks like the odds are in Middle's favor for that #1 seed even with UTSA and Marshall both playing road games.

Then again I can see Western beating Middle then losing to UAB on Sr night.

Toss it up and play the games and in the end you are going to need to beat a couple good teams to win it this year. Even the 2nd round games are dangerous or could be with Marshall/UTSA and a UAB team playing way below their level

Looks like UTSA lost their star freshman for the year. Really, really sucks for them. Might be the only thing that can keep them from overtaking Marshall though.

Either way, EXCITING FINAL WEEK!

Jackson suffered a knee injury that will require surgery according to the local paper here.

So sorry to hear about that. He is very talented. It obviously makes a big difference for UTSA going forward this season. Good luck.

So, who is going to figure out the seeding possibilities now? Here is the best I could do. I'm guessing I have something wrong after the Top 4 seeds. And I gave up when I got to the UAB, FIU, NT bunch.

I've got MTSU is 1.

WKU 2 seed, if WKU wins or ODU loses 3 seed if WKU loses and ODU wins
ODU 3 seed, if WKU wins or ODU loses 2 seed if ODU wins and WKU loses
Marshall 4 seed with win or UTSA loss 5 seed with loss and UTSA win
UTSA 5 seed with loss or Marshall win 4 seed with win and Marshall loss
UAB 6 seed with win or North Texas loss 7 seed with loss and NT win

I have updated the bracket. Hopefully I got the tiebreakers right. Western has the tiebreak over ODU via season sweep and unless I missed a game, USM has the tiebreak over FAU courtesy of their single head to head win. UNT has the tiebreak over FIU because of their win over UAB. Quite a bit of seeds still up for grabs. And it looks like Rice can steal UTEP's spot with a win and a UNT win because their best win is over FIU and UTEP's is over La Tech. Someone should check me on that though.

If LA Tech beats Southern Miss and Old Dominion beats FIU as expected, FIU and LA Tech will have the same conference record. In that case, what is the next tiebreaker?

Head to head. It looks like FIU won that match up so FIU would still be the 8 seed.

Nope

This was before Johnson was hurt or at least before I knew about it. They would have given UNT a better game if he were on the floor.
