Wanted To Conclude Probe Before IG Caught Mistake



How do you miss that when that’s what you’re supposed to be looking for?

Knowing what we know now, does one really have to ask why they didn't find those classified emails?

So, someone at the fbi told Clinton to print and send the emails in paper form so that when they got to them, they would use a crappy ocr software to look for portion markings, knowing that the ocr software would miss the special character portion markings.

So they then report back "nothing to see here, you can close her case quickly."

Then an IG went behind them, found the markings by visually examining documents, and they were like "wooops".

You maybe more savy than me, but Bluebeam will flatten a document and make it ocr searchable. It's not like it's on the money but gets pretty close.

I would want the numbnut who did the ocr search to testify under oath what OCR software they were using.

It was already "known" in the agency that their ocr software was not converting the classified markers. If you knowingly used that software where you knew it was flawed, then that person should be fired/prosecuted.

Thank God the IG's appear to have had and still have some balls.

No one could conceivably think this woman was honorable. Why would ANYONE vote for her.

Why would they be doing a legit "search" with any OCR software at all?

It would be mind-numbingly repetitive, but the IG's office was able to accomplish this. Going through 55k emails looking for markings may be tedious, but for a team of 10 or so, probably take a day or two to thumb through them.

Of course this was intentional, or just another wild asss, crazy coincidence? Likely directed from above. I'd guess Fired Andy.
