I don't need any justification other than common sense when our country, awash with guns, has a higher crime rate by far, then the rest of the civilized world. Obviously the country being awash in guns is not working.

You ask anyone from other civilized countries and they don't understand the need for so many guns either. They have PERSPECTIVE. We only have this many guns because the arms manufacturers need a market other than the military.

Common sense (and constitutional jurisprudence) means you don't get to say what "need" = numerical limitations you feel are correct.
