Coaching Killed Us
Before the usual suspects jump on me even the ESPN guys were puzzled as to why we were hell-bent in running the ball. We were getting manhandled up front and still didn’t adjust to it

A bunch of factors came to play to why we lost this game...is what it is.

I understand what he was trying to do, they were dropping 7 and 8. Offensive line was man handled today, It cost us an easy victory.

I was more concerned why we didn't have more short passes with the way they were chasing Riley for his life. Seems like some 3 yard passes would have opened things up more.

One-time coaching configuration. We'll be fine with a full complement of coaches next year.

So we could have won easily if we hadn't gotten manhandled?

I’m shocked that some of y’all aren’t getting 5 million a year coaching. What an ungrateful bunch of sob’s that think it’s so easy to make every play call right. What bunch of ******* to complain

RE: Coaching Killed Us
If Riley had the time in the pocket that their QB had, he would have picked Iowa State's defense apart. Our O Line was absolutely atrocious. Most, if not all of the sacks were absolutely NOT on Riley. He literally didn't even have time to throw it away. Just awful OL play

Their defensive line was pretty tough.

If IFs and BUTs were candy and nuts, everyday would be Christmas.

Another missed FG cost the game just like the conference championship.

RE: Coaching Killed Us
Gee, I thought we lost because we missed a field goal, had a TD called back for having a lineman down field, had a bad call for roughing the passer and were missing Henderson at RB.

We lost because they scored more points
