RE: US - Mexico Boarder wall
the initial engineering concept is solid.....

I could shoot holes in it relative to drug transport....the catapult comes to mind if outside a specific range of detection.....

for human transport.....that would take time to conquer en masse....

toss in roaming drones within a minimally specified range across the span and statically positioned heat sensor capable camera surveillance would be my suggestion to help with obscure 'gaps'.....

Is this in any way a real plan? When viewing the channel it appears to be one which aims to generates hits regardless of the content.

My thing is this... There is a reason we don't make walls out of steel but steel reinforced concrete... The Material cost.

Id' have to see an analysis of the materiel cost of this plan versus a traditional src wall. Also Maintenance due to weathering is harder on steel than concrete.

We could attach laser beams to ill tempered sea bass and flood the Rio Grande with them.

Completely agree. It won't be steel. Concrete makes the most sense. That's to say if this thing ever really gets built.
