How motivated do you reckon Auburn is playing G5 UCF? And will it matter not being equals?

motivated ucf is going to get obliterated by unmotivated auburn. I am almost looking forward to the psychobabble that will be employed to explain that one away.

it would almost be more fun if ucf won, and when they woke up the next morning, and they're still G5 . . . I want to see that terminal butthurt.

Did you say the same thing when they were playing Baylor? In fact, Baylor had the largest line in the BCS era of 16.5.

you're actually making my argument for me. you beat a P5 team in a big fancy bowl, and what did it get you? branded golf balls.

game. set. match.

My post was about you claiming that it is a forgone conclusion that UCF is gonna get obliterated.
If UCF does win, at the minimum, it builds their resume for the next reallignment. At the maximum, with how well and quick they sold out their ticket allotment in under 24 hours, as well as the peach bowl being sold out already, sure does build a resume for the conference come 2025 to potentially sign an exclusive access contract with say the peach bowl because it shows that it's not an economic disaster for them to have a team from the AAC.
Too many of you in other non access conferences only seem to plan in the present. I see zero planning by your conference for the future. Your commissioner is absent. What are the future goals of the conference? What are the plans? What are the plans to build up the conference?

It's seems you all are more bent out of shape watching another conference do anything to try to position themself for the future. No necessarily the present.

So, everyone loves to make posts about what the AAC is doing, whether it being marketing, P6, media contract etc.

I always get crickets when I ask what CUSA's plan is going forward in the future. What is the 7 year plan leading up to the 2025 sweepstakes. Media player, marketing, bowls, etc. What does your commissioner have planned, since we don't hear much from her office, ever.
Let's pretend she is no longer the commissioner. What do you all think a comprehensive plan should be for CUSA over the next 7 years. You all like to critique other conferences, but why not put out a plan what you would do for your own.

You do know that many Southern Miss fans come toAAc board saying how much they wish they were in the AAC.

DUH! Of course we would. I'm one of them. I'd love for USM to be in the AAC. Not because it's some esteemed "power" conference but because Southern Miss and our fans have a loooong history with just about everyone in the AAC. We're all fully aware that the AAC might be a slightly better conference than CUSA (although in the grand scheme of things...not really, still a massive gap between the AAC and a P5 conference). However, until USM is in the AAC I'll always give that conference a friendly ribbing (especially while it has a VERY poor bowl record vs fellow G5 schools) while accentuating the positive for USM. Surely AAC fans can understand this.

everything is so massively Freudian with you people. everything is a secret path to something else besides the thing it quite obviously is. most things are a trap door to somewhere else, and nothing can be understood without some bizarre coked up ******* explaining the hidden meanings to you. and all of your problems are because someone touched your woo woo when you were little.

here's what's going to happen; you're going to play football in a few days, and when that happens, you're going to get your ass blown to mars. when that happens, nothing is going to matter but the smoking crater that is left behind.

your "narrative" will be useless, your "resume" will be ashes, and all of that other mindless crap you were drooling about is only going to make sense in your safe space where group think rules, and the hive mind keeps everyone feeling really ok about themselves.

cool of you to take credit for auburn selling out the peach bowl, by the way.

we're going to hire a tv guy to be our commish at the dawn of a digital era, and build a conference around tv markets just before tv sports viewership dried up.

then we're going to screen print stuff on a bunch of golf balls.

then we're going to feel really, really superior to everyone else.

Then carry on being obsessed what other conferences are doing to better market themselves. Continue to ignore the ineptitude of the CUSA administration. Continue to be happy with status quo, as long as the good ole AAC it right there with you. Am I off? It seems that CUSA fans gave up on any fight for the betterment of their conference. They have regressed to having their goal to have the AAC occupy the seat next to them in 5 years.
Literally no plan of action other then to make jealous infused posts and threads about what the AAC is doing.
Some forward thinking......sheesh.

Oh, and continue to complain about the troll rash...... don't go planting poison ivy in your garden and expect to not itch.

There is no "let's", there is no "we", and the actual members of this board are not here to appease AAC trolls nonsense requests.

it's mystifying to me that they just can't seem to grasp the message.

Don't worry. Will be leaving in a half hour. The bowl game against a Big 12 team starts soon.

Oh, and continue to complain about the troll rash...... don't go planting poison ivy in your garden and expect to not itch.

that's so ridiculous that it's just really hard to respond to.

That's sad. I would hate to be in that conference.

you pretty much are in that conference. G5 is G5, and you are G5.

sorry, cupcake. this is how life works outside the matrix.

FYI, you will be better off ignoring comments like that. But I see that you can't help yourself and continue. Not unlike this entire thread on the CUSA about a completely different conference. You all can't help yourselves.
