Sessions looking into Uranium One
Prosecutors ask FBI agents for info on Uranium One

"The interviews with FBI agents are part of the Justice Department's effort to fulfill a promise an assistant attorney general made to Congress last month to examine whether a special counsel was warranted to look into what has become known as the Uranium One deal, a senior Justice Department official said."

"A senior law enforcement official who was briefed on the initial FBI investigation told NBC News there were allegations of corruption surrounding the process under which the U.S. government approved the sale. But no charges were filed.

As the New York Times reported in April 2015, some of the people associated with the deal contributed millions of dollars to the Clinton Foundation. And Bill Clinton was paid $500,000 for a Moscow speech by a Russian investment bank with links to the transaction."

"As the Russians gradually assumed control of Uranium One in three separate transactions from 2009 to 2013, The New York Times reported, Uranium One's Canadian chairman, Ian Telfer, used his family foundation to make four donations totaling $2.35 million to the Clinton Foundation. Those contributions were not publicly disclosed by the foundation, the Times reported, despite a promise to publicly identify all donors. The foundation later said it made a mistake."

Not sure anything will turn up, but at least they are taking a look.

completely agree.....

it's scary how inherently corrupt things have become by growing the gov't to it's current level in numbers and control.....

there is nothing that our forefathers would enjoy about today's schematic....

This is just a 'make work' order to 'investigate something that info wars wants' from DJT. They'll investigate it, even though the investigation will be a complete waste of time. Because its VERY unlikely that there's anything going on that implicates the Dems. Maybe they can find a misspelling somewhere in a document.

You mean, like the indictments that Mueller has handed down in a year of “investigation”?

I was thinking the exact same thing. Distract while they raid the public treasury. I remember in the not too distant pass the red team complaining about Obama’s Santa Claus. You can’t win against Santa Claus. This Putin Puppet just raided 1.5 trillion from our future to give to corporations for stock buy backs and CEO pay. Corporations have never been more profitable and they were just flat out given 1.5 trillion. We have what 250 million people. What could we just hand out to every American’s when the D’s get their shot.

They don’t care. Stink has it. It’s all distraction while the real business gets done and that business is money. The biggest con game is happening and it’s happening under our nose.

Mueller has to proceed slowly, in a way that keeps the possibility of state charges to be filed against the investigates, in order to prevent Trump from using pardons to clam people up.

You mean, the charges that will be tossed when a judge determines how evidence was procured and how the defense was not properly notified?

Sure, Trump might get one judge to throw out some charges, but nah, Muellers' on to something and its making DJT really upset. Otherwise DJT would be spending his time on the next outrage.

Odd, out of the several press releases we have seen from large American companies concerning the tax cut (Wells Fargo, AT&T, Boeing, Fifth Third) all have been about raises and bonus for employees and specifically exclude management. So it looks to me that employees will take home more money (which is taxed) and likely spend it on stuff (which is also taxed). That means other companies who make the stuff they are buying will need more employees to meet the increased demand.

Weird how that works.

RE: Sessions looking into Uranium One
"Mr. Chairman, it was a highly contentious campaign. I, like a lot of people, made comments about the issues in that campaign. With regard to Secretary Clinton and some of the comments I made, I do believe that that could place my objectivity in question. I've given that thought.

I believe the proper thing for me to do, would be to recuse myself from any questions involving those kind of investigations that involve Secretary Clinton and that were raised during the campaign or to be otherwise connected to it.

No, she [AG Lynch] did not officially recuse. And there is a procedure for that, which I would follow. And I believe that would be the best approach for the country because we can never have a political dispute turn into a criminal dispute. That's not in any way that would suggest anything other than absolute objectivity. This country does not punish its political enemies, but this country ensures that no one is above the law." ~ Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III, 1/10/2017

Reading comprehension issues on your part. He was pointing out the source was NBCNews before CNN and the libturds starting debunking the source.
