What a shame. He was so apolitical that I really never knew on what side of the fence he fell...............Fair and balanced that guy was...........

I'm old enough to remember not having Fox News and Hardball was the fairest and best news show on. I watched Matthews throughout the Bush/Gore election. What happened to him? Sad.

Everyone knew that was weird at the time, and now it makes sense. Something that only a sexual predator would say.

Actually pretty minor. Bad language. Reprimanded. No indication of recurrence. She was paid only 40k when leaving (and its not clear she left in relation to the complaint).

I’m thinking this is getting completely out of hand.
Don’t give a rip about CM or most any of these people, but cmon.,

Ye reap what ye sow, and the leftists are now getting theirs, but holy schit. “You look great today” is sexual harassment?!?

How about- “hey Brenda, not sure what happened in makeup before air time, but you look terrible”. ?

That harassment too?

This is gonna spell disaster on many fronts if it continues more than a couple more weeks or so...

This is where I've been for a while now. Do I like Chris Matthews - hell no.

Maybe if we dunk him in the river and he doesn't drown, he a harasser, if the drowns, he's exonerated??

That's about where we are.........

Yeah, I wouldn't mind if he gets fried over it, but he doesn't deserve it. He was a bit of a jerk. But it was only words and apparently it was fixed.

Good article on the topic from the Federalist. Best line in the article-The Blob--"...Like that shapeless thing in the old sci-fi movie, “The Blob,” the concept of sexual harassment swallows everything it meets. It digests a degenerate thug like Harvey Weinstein together with a college student who makes an awkward pass at a girl, an office worker who tells a risqué joke, or a well-intentioned boss who compliments a woman on her dress. MacKinnon’s devouring blob is covered throughout the country by a mélange of federal, state, and city laws as a form of discrimination under human rights laws...."

RE: Chris Matthews
Pretty soon there won't be anyone giving out the news. I wonder how many of us are not guilty of this at one time in our lives. I'm no angel and thank God that I've changed. Really, in true conscience can anyone who posts here they have not said, done something inappropriate to a woman? Especially those oldsters who lived in a different era. Whistling, giving a compliment, ogling, etc. I think everyone of us is guilty in some way. That's why I'm asking, will it ever stop and who isn't guilty.

Before, I get lambasted I'm not condoning it either. But, I'll tell you one thing, I'll never compliment a woman again...ever.
