Anyone leaving a position in a secure environment gets escorted out. It doesn't matter if they are terminated because of their actions or leaving on their own accord. We had a gentleman officially retire last month and he was escorted out. The original report was that she was dragged out by USSS.

I think you fail to understand the difference between fake news and mistaken news.

Fake news is when someone deliberately misleads the public.

Mistaken news is when something is reported and the details of what happened were mistaken.

For example. When Spicer says there were more people at Trump's inaug than at Obama's. That is fake news because the facts prove otherwise and he is deliberately trying to mislead the public.

When however it is reported that someone was escorted from the WH and they mistakenly speculate that it was by the SS. That isn't fake news, that's mistaken news.

When being escorted out of the WH isn't being escorted out of the WH and is fake news.

So silly to claim being escorted out is fake news and then not miss a beat saying of course, everyone fired or leaving is escorted out, after it's revealed that in fact the non escort was indeed an escort and pretend there's no contradiction between the two opposites.

“Not only is it ridiculous, but it is also absurd,” she said. “I wouldn’t want anyone, nonetheless myself, to be able to run around and cause disruption. The White House is the most secure place in the world.”

Manigault Newman described the reporter as someone with a “personal vendetta against me,” and called her reporting “completely false” and “unverified.”

The U.S. Secret Service late Wednesday seemed to confirm she was escorted off, but denied the agency had anything to do with physically removing her.
