Yep. Everyday. A guy wrote a newpaper article about an internet meme yesterday. Pure desperation.
define "a lot" from your perspective..... "a lot" to most people means a majority.....
Well based on Trump's election and poll numbers I'd say at least 40% of Republicans. I think that's a lot.
Quote:your fear of racism is continually demonstrated the more you post.....
My fear of racism? You act as if it doesn't exist. It's not bigfoot or aliens, it's real. Racism is real.
Quote:your main tactic is to toss out that 'nazi card' every chance you get.....
that's a fitbud problem and nobody else's......
That's a fitbud problem? Really? So I just made up the fact that Moore speaks of slavery in the way that he does?
Quote:you have the ability to choose.....only you.....everyone has to combat bias at some point in their short period of existence.....
Yes, everyone has to combat bias at some point in their lives...........some more than others.
Quote:all you demonstrate is 1 = 0 when you're looking for 1 = 1.....you'll never win that battle....
I have never been a believer in equality. What I preach is tolerance. You and I are not the same but we are both human. We should be able to treat each other with decency.

It was a slogan that came out after Obama was elected.
Think about that for a moment. The GOP started saying "Take America Back" after our first black president was elected.
How profound.
As if we somehow lost America to the evil black man and we somehow had to take drastic measures to wrestle it back from them.
Thus, voter I.D.
I hate to lay this on ya fit......most cons didn't give two shites whether ZERO was black or white.......

Maybe you personally didn't feel that way but a lot of people did. Don't act like you never saw the signs of Obama dressed as a witch doctor.
Don't act like you forgot that he was accused of being a Muslim, who was not born in the United States.
You think it was a coincidence that Trump, one of the first to push the birther movement, was elected President?
Come on man.
Quit being so naive.
There will always be people out there who won't like someone simply because of their looks. You'll never stamp that out 100%. To believe that the majority of people who did not support Obama did so because of racism is stupid. The vast majority of people who did not like Obama did so because they thought he had stupid ideas on policies. If Obama agreed with Ronald Reagan 100% on politics, the VAST majority of conservatives would have supported him with great zeal.

You just cut your point off at the knees. Based on what you just wrote, Obama's detractors were primarily focused on his politics and not his skin color.

Given that fact that Republicans vowed to oppose him regardless of his policies, I think he did a pretty good job.
Never forget that he was opposed 100% of the time even when he sided with Republicans, they walked away from their own legislation to avoid voting with Obama.
I grew up in rural Ohio (pop. 2,000). I remember canvassing for Obama in 2012 for his reelection. Out of the maybe 40 people I talked to that day, I had at least 3 people slam the door on me after saying they weren't gonna vote for a N*****. I also remember being at bars in the area and hearing the N-word quite often from respected members of the community after they've had a few pints. If I had taken a shot for every time I heard it that night, I probably would have needed my stomach pumped.
I don't believe the majority of Republicans are racist. I also don't think Trump is a racist.... although I do think he has inherent bias... Which if we're being honest... A lot of us do. Myself included. But I do think Trump and his cohorts are using racial undertones and dog whistles to play to the crowd that IS explicitly racist. I'm not sure how large that group of people are, but I'm willing to bet that it isn't insignificant.

Some democrats remain hard core racists. You probably flushed out some KKK members of the democratic party.

That's a possibility. Bet they didn't vote for Obama though. Bet they voted for Trump in the past election.

Agree with this statement 100%.
When Obama was elected, I even had people within my own family that were making racist statements about it.
