I typically like to go with a theme and get everyone in my family the same type of gift.

So one year I gave everyone books, another gift cards, another pajamas.

Does anyone have any gift ideas for me?

Keep in mind there are 15 adults in my family and I don't have a huge budget so something under $20 each please.

Any ideas?

My gift to you would be to draw names and have secret santa. As adults, you don't need to buy a bunch of crap that most people will likely either stow away somewhere to be forgotten or to regift them to others at a later date.

We did the Secret Santa thingy with friends at a party. The plan was to write down 3 things that you might like. My wife had on her list things that were too general. What I did was head to Lowes and take photos of more than 3 things with prices and sent them to whomever got my name. The lady who got me said that she hoped I'd be surprised. I said yes I would be because they are all things that I would like to have and whatever I got would still surprise me.

That's how it's done.

I agree. We already have a gift exchange and this was supposed to replace giving every adult gifts as it is a bit of a financial burden for some of our family members. However, at least one sister always violates the agreement and gives everyone gifts anyway so I feel bad not giving everyone a gift.

And that is just one side of the family. I have about 20 people on my side and 40 on my wife's side. I easily spend over a grand on gifts and that doesn't even include my own wife and kids.

Ok. $5 sandwich knife - AND dishwasher safe.

What about a fleshlight instead of a flashlight?

How about Christmas socks? You can buy in bulk packages and split them up.

I really liked this list (video). Most of us can use some of these. http://www.wsj.com/video/six-boring-tech...5D0A0.html

My son is a Moo State grad. Got one of these for him the second I saw it in the store.

This one is from American Eagle Outfitters. $10 online. Very, very nice quality. They have sections for Men and Women with a decent selection.

Please, everyone go spend money at AEO. Their stock is reaming me a new one.

RE: Christmas Gift Ideas
In my family we stopped buying for adult members long ago. I give all the grand-kids gift cards or cash and they love them, greedy little rugrats. I can't wait until they are all adults and I can quit giving them gifts. #bahhumbug

Yep, once they reach 18 it's over buddy. With so many relatives it's almost impossible to look for so many gifts or look for the money. I hate Christmas for this reason. If we could just enjoy the fact that the good Lord has given us so much already nothing else is needed then we would be the better for it. My wife and I don't give each other gifts anymore because we both know that if we want something any time of the year we can get it. Besides, my gifting her would only turn into a/some trips to the stores to return the item. She wouldn't fake it though, she would blurt out a loud, EWWWWWW, deflating my joy. So now, no more gifts for either one.
