RE: NEW stadium construction
Here's a new video from 50 yd line by Ted. Looks like the chair backs we are seeing in 217 are not really installed but placed between the rows.

Personally, I'd do anything to avoid those monstrosities in Sept and even early October. I really hated the idea of being forced to use a 'prison of war punishment hole', but hey to each his own!

LOL. There shouldn't be a need for them anymore. I remembering seeing somewhere that there will be 80+ toilets available for men and 140+ for women. Unless drinks start pouring from sky on every adult in the stadium we should be fine. 03-lmfao

Here is a pic posted by ODAF on how the interior of priority club is at the moment.

I think the word is that the Priority Club wont be done til ECU game.

I wonder what they’re going to do to make it up to the folks who purchased tickets to the club. $7,500 for four season tickets is steep to not get the full red carpet experience for all six games.

I'm sure this has been well documented and I somehow missed it. Why are there no suites on the East side? Would it have taken too much space/capacity? Are they part of Phase 2, if so...where?

May be phase 2 but suites are most likely added to NEZ than the east side since the plans so far only talked about adding a 3rd deck on the east side.

Would it be possible to add suites or at least a covered terrace area on each of the sides of the press box. I’m surprised they didn’t put a standing area up there in this phase.

Think they are numbering seats on west side. Wonder why west side ribbon hasn't been tested yet. Can't wait to see spot lights andhear sound system

The new turf looks great. I do wished they had put the K-Field down the sideline, off the field of play.

Only a few have the benefactor on the field. Here are a few,

It’s interesting that two of those are conference mates. I wonder if there is a C-USA protocol regarding such a thing?

RE: NEW stadium construction
We need to get back to winning ways and find a way to fill the stadium consistently so that admin can really feel the need for urgency on phase 2 and start fund-raising for it. I am sure there is a significant portion of the fanbase that hates the NEZ and how it ruins the aesthetics but we need to give them a better reason than that. I personally will set some dollars aside if they designate a campaign for NEZ but i think empty seats will bother the admin more than money that needs to be raised hence the urgency for getting back to winning.

Obviously winning fixes everything, but the fans also want a stadium that we can be proud of. I’ll give ODU some credit but it’s hard to be really proud of a half finished small stadium. Phase 2 needs to be done regardless of what happens on the field.

I don't think that's how AD sees it. They have other priorities up the list before they even get to NEZ. The NEZ and third deck will only happen if they see revenue coming in that is more than what the suites can get them or even similar to what suites might reel in and who can blame them. If there is no appeal for the product on the field then we simply can't simply afford to take food away from mouth. I know we are already close to reaching the 40 MM campaign that partially funds facilities as well as scholarships but we would need some serious cash before we can venture into NEZ/3rd deck and again this is all speculation which makes sense.

South endzone. "MONARCHS". View from Camera 1 the spacing on the A still looks off. On Camera 2 not as much.

I watched them lay these out. They are very precise in how they measure and layout the lettering.

And they very precisely misspaced the A. No other letters have different spacing between the preceding and proceeding letters as the A does from the N and the R.

But they did the same spacing issue with the old MONARCHS due to the serif on the font. You can see the top pic on the SB Ballard cam site - the old field it had a similar gap difference. But the font on the new turf is san serif. I think they used the wrong spacing by not accounting for that.

This pic was posted in Reddit a week ago. The spacing block before A looks ok from the ground level. I believe its either the angle or the font spacing like you said.
