Like others, I don't care for the name being on the field. Since Mr Barry K isn't selling a product, does he really need the exposure? Rather the name be attached prominently on the building somewhere.

While on the issue of K-Field, shouldn't one set of the K-Field and C-USA logos be facing the east stands?

It's standard for all field logos to be facing the TV cameras.

Camera #1 is showing work on the new scoreboard with the bottom row of screens being installed

A small gif comparing old stadium(google earth view) and new(wavy 10 aerial view).

It looks like 7 rows of 11 LED bricks make up our new scoreboard from a quick look at what's been put in so far. Does any one know if these LED bricks are portable modules? Just want to know if in the future when we need a wider scoreboard, hopefully in the next 4 to 5 years, can we use these as part of the new scoreboard? Assuming we buy compatible display bricks and controller that works with these? I know electronics come and go in this day and age like crazy but want to see if that option exists or not. Makes sense to look into that option from fiscal standpoint.

Field reminds me of a newly laid carpet that needs stretching to get the wrinkles out. A couple of men worked all night installing bleachers on east side.

They must have run out of blue panels being used at top of bleacher railings. Hope they can get some more before 8/31.

Heard from a very reliable source the tour of the stadium will be sometime in mid August, not before.

West stands seat installation is almost complete in Section 212. In the next couple of days we should see seats fully installed in Sections 214 and 216, completing the upper deck.

There is a lot of work left to be done. They are working hard but I suspect they will need the extra weeks between home games to get everything finished. I think they will get their OP because the major parts of the stadium will be complete and all safety issues will be completed.

I think so too. They still have good bit of work left that is unseen by most of us including press box interiors, concession stands, testing of electric/electronics, clean up and a perimeter wall to fence it off. Looks like they are gonna be done with Turf and Scoreboard by the months end and rest is all under the covers.

West side very quiet today. Virtually no trucks in sight. Wonder if they are doing something with the road today.

Agreed. I think the turf looks great!

New scoreboard is about halfway installed.

Looks like they have cleared out all of the work vehicles on the West Entrance side. No clue why, unless they plan to fence it in.
