It's all good! Think we are all in agreement that updated plans or renderings would go a long way

I get the anticipation but I'd rather not see them until they're finalized.

Agree but they should be finalized by now since we are starting construction soon. Dont they understand they need to give the fans some good news since the football team sucks so bad.

They can start demoing and building without a finalized plan for the NEZ. Especially if that work isn't done until after the 2019 season, which is what I anticipate.

I know but we really dont know what they are doing with the NEZ. Could be nothing and all we have is like 8 tiny crappy renderings. We should have gotten 3D flyovers, high def graphics and images of every part of the new stadium. ODU didnt give us crap.

Why do you think Harry promised renderings months ago and hasnt posted them yet? They are not finalized.

Also agree. We all flipped out after being promised something on the waterfront and then changing it. I get nothing now would be that drastic, but it's the same line of thought.

I will add that the NEZ changes may not be included in this round of renderings. The late club level addition is likely the reason for the late publication of them.
But I wouldn't be surprised if they announce the decision on the NEZ the day they release those final renderings.

Promised is a little to strong of a word. A waterfront stadium was considered. Of course the "water scene" did lead us to believe that it would happen.

True, but we were promised the best G5 college stadium under 30,000 in the country.

Not being snarky. But can you provide the source for that promise?

Have you ever heard of HerdZoned?

Don't want to derail too much but for a little context this is Herdzoned. I think he got a little pissy because I questioned the fact that they allowed a Div II team to score 100+ on them earlier in the week in a scrimmage.

From a post on another thread "NO NEW scoreboard for 2019. It will go up in new location over/behind the end zone seats in 2020." Info came from an ODAF rep.

So i take it we won't be seeing any changes on the NEZ and the corners which boils down to the entire work being done to East and West stands.

From what I was told, for political purposes, we didn't want to go ask for approval to spend another 2.5 mm on the NEZ project after already asking for approval to boost the budget by 10mm. We thought it would have bad optics.
The 2019 project will be about 5 mm, but we already have the 2.5 mm for the scoreboard approved.
So yes, the final renderings released won't have the new NEZ included.
