RE: 2017 FB attendance results
I'm amazed that Charlotte sold 82% of our tickets despite
Being 0-2 and offensively incompetent before our first home game
Having a game during the kids fall break
Having a game the Saturday after thanksgiving
Having general malaise and fan indifference after being much worse than our fairly pedestrian 4-8 team in 2016
Just putting a bad product on the field.
It will be worse next year unless
Judy Rose is fired or
Brad Lambert is fired.
I don't think fan base will tolerate both of things being in play when it comes time to renew.
It's amazing how successful I think Charlotte football would be if the administration and coaching staff would put some effort into scoring more points than opponents instead of trying to recruit good kids and give them a great college athlete experience.

Well done FAU, you moved from 10k to 18.5k. Nice job.
My poor Eagles, I'm at a loss for words. We need to show better support for sure.
1 28,749 UAB
2 22,821 UTSA
3 22,417 Marshall
4 22,362 North Texas
5 21,711 Southern Miss
6 21,163 Louisiana Tech
7 20,118 Old Dominion
8 19,704 Rice
9 19,548 UTEP
10 18,568 Florida Atlantic
11 16,718 Middle Tennessee
12 16,196 FIU
13 15,706 Western Kentucky
14 12,618 Charlotte

Last seasons CUSA average was 19,717. Baby steps.

UTEP has averaged around 40k, Marshall and Southern Miss around 30k. The greasy P5 and conference realignment have really hurt some great schools.

Need to look at patterns. Sure, FAU does not draw like USM or UNT. But we did go from averaging 11K to averaging 18K in a year.
