Wait a sec...
The Creator and Savior of all mankind who dined with sinners who was executed on the cross and rose from the grave wouldn't want anything to do with Trump?
You apparently don't understand the precepts of Christianity.

Surprise me and expound on what you know about the ""Christ of the Bible". Is there another one we should know about?
I just meant following the scripture itself, and not one of the confabulations of him that some people seem to have.
But, per usual, the actual comment being made is ignored.
Just refer back to the Beatitudes and then focus on the empty jesture of Donald Trump's gesture... Perhaps of he lived his life by these, this simple action might have a little meaning.
The Beatitudes
Matthew 5:1-12
5 One day as he saw the crowds gathering, Jesus went up on the mountainside and sat down. His disciples gathered around him, 2 and he began to teach them.
3
“God blesses those who are poor and realize their need for him,[a]
for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs.
4
God blesses those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
5
God blesses those who are humble,
for they will inherit the whole earth.
6
God blesses those who hunger and thirst for justice,[b]
for they will be satisfied.
7
God blesses those who are merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
8
God blesses those whose hearts are pure,
for they will see God.
9
God blesses those who work for peace,
for they will be called the children of God.
10
God blesses those who are persecuted for doing right,
for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs.
OK, it's becoming glaringly obvious that some of the people in this thread really don't grasp Christianity and the message of God's Word.

Why? Was it renamed from Christmas Inn to Holiday Inn at some point?
Happy Holidays and Seasons Greetings have been used for an awfully long time in this country. It is ridiculous something as simple as saying Happy Holidays or Merry Chrismas has become a political litmus test.
And who made it thus? The PC crowd who are so determined not to offend certain subsets of our society that they ended up offending the mainstream. But who cares about that, right?
No, the “War on Christmas” was largely a ploy by the right, largely Fox News, to make conservative Christians feel threatened. Businesses have long preferred Holiday greetings to broaden appeal to all who celebrate this time of year. Municipalities have traditionally chosen to include all of their citizens in holiday celebrations as opposed to “most”. This has been done as long as I can remember... until now.
"Traditionally" since when?

Well, that's certainly a lot more words than your compadre but I see little there that links Jesus's words to the actions of our POTUS. Perhaps you can shed some light on it for me.
That's the point. He's virtually the antithesis of anything Jesus actually preached.
"Let he who is without sin cast the first stone."
Does your pastor teach that one?

ex·pound
ikˈspound/
verb
verb: expound; 3rd person present: expounds; past tense: expounded; past participle: expounded; gerund or present participle: expounding
present and explain (a theory or idea) systematically and in detail.
"he was expounding a powerful argument"
synonyms: present, put forward, set forth, propose, propound; More
Whats to expound on? You want me to explain whats right there in the Bible itself?
Uh, yes. isn't that what I asked for?
I just wanted to make sure you were seriously asking me to describe, in depth, what I know of Christ, because holy sh*t that's an absurd request. I've read the entire Bible, the gospels multiple times over, and for me to write in depth my thoughts on the matter would take days. So, no, I'm not going to do that.
Suffice to say, there is not a single aspect of Christs teachings that, as far as I can tell, Trump lives by. He's arrogant, dishonest, petty, greedy, lustful, boastful, and vain. If you would like to contest that claim, feel free to post scripture which refutes that.
Don't be ridiculous, context... How does any of what's been quoted prove any of that? How are any of the traits you've assigned to him anything more than your own opinion?

The city of Memphis had menorahs, christmas trees, candles and seasons greetings signs up and down poplar for years... and still do.

They put menorahs over there at Poplar/ Yates where all the Jews live. The rest is Christmas stuff.

Sure, and if he were a private individual, I wouldn't care less about his hypocrisy and faults. But he's the highest elect official in our nation, so I'm going to go ahead and stop you on distorting a passage encouraging introspection to mean Christians shouldn't judge their elected leaders for their actions.

It's ridiculous that you don't get it.
He's never heard that wise adage, "the reason for the season". We celebrate Christmas and that's how it's been done for centuries. The Libturds (I haven't used that since Bison was here) decided to make it all inclusive. It's fine with me they can call it what they want as long as they don't try to stop me from saying, "Merry Christmas". I know that Christ wasn't born in December but who cares. It's the fact that he was born to die for our sins that is the important part. THAT was why he became the Incarnate God, that was his task bestowed on him by the Father. To die for our sins which came later. For that I am grateful else I die in my iniquities.
