I hope not. I mean, how can you hype a big announcement on an upcoming date if you had already mailed folks the news? Seems silly. Having said that, I think this matching thing is awesome and very generous by the donor.

I'm still not sure if it's 50K total or 50K max for each donation.

Whoever it is is going to match dollar for dollar up to 50K. So if we contribute 50K total, the take will be 100K

Tis the season of giving! We have approximately 2,500 ODAF donors. If everyone gives $100, that is $250,000. Matched equals $500,000. Its amazing what $100 can do when a lot of people get involved

The max that the donor will match is that.

The max the donor will put in is 50K -- if 50K has been pledged by others. If 30K is pledged, he/she will put in 30K, for a total of 60,000 (I hope)
