Between the scoreboard and the bleachers there are two big ole oak trees. I would look to them before each of our kicks, and the results were consistent with the movement of the trees. Cut those boys a little slack.

Our kicker Rice gets a pass for his wide miss, the wind was rough yesterday. I did like RICE's punter

Nick Rice? He's 4/4 30-39 and 4/7 40-49. Two of the latter missed were last night; one was tipped.
Didn't realize that. Was basing my comment on yesterday only. My bad.

Haha. There is a couple that has sat in front of us at basketball games who leaves with about 2 minutes left no matter what. They have left when games were tied or within a point or two multiple times. I can't understand it for the life of me.

I guess, but if you park strategically you are out in less than 5 minutes every game.

I don't get this thought process either. I'm paying to watch a game. I want to see the ending. For football, unless the weather is just too terrible to sit through, I'm staying until the end. There is just no excuse for leaving basketball early.

RE: ODU vs Rice
I don't want to mention his name, but a big name person with very close ties to ODU basketball leaves the games early along with his wife. I understand the reason why they do it, and it has nothing to do with being the first one out of the parking garage.
Instead of talking down about the ones that leave ahead of others, we should be happy that they came to start with. Over the years there have been too many times that there were a bunch of empty seats in the arena the entire game, especially in the section behind the basket at the visitors end.

Yeah, the slant was there too, but when you see the DE crash down, hes instructed to run. He probably should have been stopped but “out-athleted” them.

I noticed the slant was open also but can't argue with the result.
