With a mobile qb and a sometimes suspect o-line why don't we roll the qb out. I know you eliminate part of the field but that could make his decision to pass or run easier\ faster.

Go out with a win at home. As far as I'm concerned he's been the face of the program since Taylor graduated. Maybe we get a miracle and win another one or two. But at this point I'm proud of the guys for pulling decent out of crap.

I was also proud of how many stayed after Rice scored to take the lead with just over 2 minutes left. A few left but most of the faithful who had hung in to that point stayed and we were rewarded. That last drive was very Heinickesque and I look forward to the day when it simply becomes known as Williamsesque. Now go out next week and upset MTSU.

I couldn't make it but watched online. My son was there with my mom and step dad. I texted my mom. "Did you stay till the end?" "No, we left when they scored with 2 minutes. I was furious!" My step dad made them leave. He's going to be in the dog house for a while. =]

Did Williams play call that last drive? From how it looked in the stands he did. If that is the case, we have got to get rid of our Offensive Coordinator. Williams calls far better plays then he does.

2 min drills are practiced constantly.

The TD, it was a called play for a Ray hand-off or pass. Stevie decided to tuck and run.

Nice win...we stayed and was rewarded, but I must admit that I did not think we were going to pull that one out. The Offense had been horrible on the two previous drives. Not sure where that came from but we need to see more of that.

Exactly. None of us saw that coming given how our drives were earlier but that drive was pure magic. Ray's one handed grab was sweet and that Game winner tuck and run was special. We need more of these to beat the flying ponies next week.

It doesnt make sense to leave with 2 mins left. Like what psychologically makes someone say “ ah, Im out of here” with 2 mins left and 2 timeouts?

It was pure grit and desire to win that made that drive work. Especially the TD run. He wanted that end zone and he was gonna get in no matter what. We don't play well with a lead. We need to play every drive like we're about to lose the game.

Exactly. Miracles and upsets are part of the drama and magic of it all. Why leave JUST BEFORE THE PAY OFF??

Nick Rice? He's 4/4 30-39 and 4/7 40-49. Two of the latter missed were last night; one was tipped.

Rice is a true Freshman. I think we're set for 3 more years with a very potent field goal weapon.

Wait, Rice has been phenomenal as a true freshman. 2 of his misses have been blocked.
