7 hour drive. Fastest growing city in the US. 170,000 people. Never heard of it.

Sounds better than Mobile, Birmingham, Nashville or any other cold bowl or west coast bowl. But all we have to do is win 3 more and this won't happen.

Don't waste time worrying what bowl the Tigers get if they lose the CCG. It'll be a P5 somewhere based on AAC stipulations (which most sports writers don't bother to research).

Not bad. Smallish stadium, won't be an impressive feel to it, but I still like it. Lets face it, we have no good options other than winning out and going to Atlanta.

UAB is currently 7-2. Could be two 10 win teams going head to head. Birmingham bowl does have first choice.

Question would the bones be up for grab in that game?

I bet it would end up like the Miami Beach Bowl since it is taking its place and they would pair us up with a pretty good opponent like they did with BYU if we just miss the NY6. The other conference is yet to be determined so it could be anyone. Plan was Sun Belt though. THat would suck.

I don't know. There are so many bowls anymore. lol I know the tie-ins for the American are lower level bowls that no one really cares about. If Memphis doesn't win the conference, the Frisco Bowl in Texas would be my first choice.

I think Memphis would be in the Peach if we win the conference.
