All I know is, after the past 2 weeks, I don't know what to think anymore. Is it a matter of both Toledo and OU coming off emotional weeks and falling flat? If that's the case, is OU actually any better, or just caught us at the right time, like Miami did Notre Dame last weekend. I mean, we saw the game. Their line play dominated us in every way.

I'm wondering if having one fewer day of practice than your opponent makes a difference. Akron had 7 days Ohio had 6. Ohio had 7days we had 6.

If all 3 teams win out (ut,ou,akron) who plays in championship?
Is this serious? OU lost head to head with Akron and both would be 6-2. We are irrelevant. Akron and Toledo in the MACC.

Definitely. Your body isn’t meant to play that game on such short rest.

Less than a week and you’re either sacrificing rest, preparation or a little of both.

All Akron has to do is beat Kent State and they are in.

All the more reason to win the next two in order to get a rematch.....otherwise that article stands unchallenged.

OK now a good argument can be made about that self-congratulatory puff piece designed to inflate the Bobcat ego. I suspect at this moment Akron is looking forward to a rematch with Toledo the same way we were look forward to a rematch with Ohio at this time yesterday. However, still too early to gloat over their disaster or count our chickens just yet because "When the skies of November turn gloomy" strange things happen to UT football and there are two November games left. Still, I feel better about the Rocket's chances than I have in a while.
