Article perfectly sums up what transpired last night. They wanted it. We are vulnerable against a good rushing attack. The best way to rattle a good QB is to get after him, not drop 8.
Hard to argue it.
Bold statement... We’ll see if it holds up beyond the first Saturday in December...
Class of the conference and they also have a home loss to CMU.
The team is just about due for a total season collapse.
The mistakes have piled up.
The undicisplined play from the first game throughout.
Now injuries taking their toll.

I wouldn't want to have to play EMU or Ball State again at this point that's for sure.

I would LOVE to play Ball State again. I hate to play WMU.

Yeah, I’m fairly certain we could round up 22 guys on this message board and hang with ball state.

If we win the next two, somebody should pin this article to the team bulletin board.
Yes. If we can beat BG and WMU, then this article will be good motivation. Somebody tell this coaching staff that the secret to beat OU, and likely WMU is to put 8 guys in the box and force the QB to beat us with his arm not his legs. We need to have a spy on the qb and hit him ever time he runs the option. On offense we need to protect Logan much better and since the blitzed all night, we should have a health number of screens to legate their aggresive D. Our coaches need to strategize and simply take away the opponents strength. I don't see OU winiing again if we can do that.

GO ROCKETS!!!
After Wednesday night, you can't make a good argument against that article....if you beat the (perceived) best then you are the best until proved otherwise. All the more reason to win the next two in order to get a rematch.....otherwise that article stands unchallenged.
It has been such a long time since a MACC championship.

Cheers to 3 more wins!

Amen. Scary when we know this and they don't

All I know is, after the past 2 weeks, I don't know what to think anymore. Is it a matter of both Toledo and OU coming off emotional weeks and falling flat? If that's the case, is OU actually any better, or just caught us at the right time, like Miami did Notre Dame last weekend. I mean, we all saw the game. Their line play dominated us in every way.

I'm wondering if having one fewer day of practice than your opponent makes a difference. Akron had 7 days Ohio had 6. Ohio had 7days we had 6.

If all 3 teams win out (ut,ou,akron) who plays in championship?
