Thats the guy I was thinking of. His dad or family tried to spark outrage here in the states that he would be allowed to be caned over there. Dude vandalized police vehicles I think. I wanted to travel to singapore to administer the caning myself because I didnt think they would hit him hard enough.

That's now how that works. You fak up in a foreign land and you are bound by that nation's law. The US Embassy can try and help, but from what I've heard, there is little the embassy can do and if the situation is dire enough, you are basically up sh!t creek with no help from home.
