Quote:President Trump and Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe carried on an old tradition of feeding carp at a Koi pond at Alaska Palace in Tokyo when CNN and the rest of the mainstream media decided to twist the narrative to make Trump appear like a buffoon.
Liberal network CNN ran a ridiculous headline, “Trump feeds fish, winds up pouring entire box of food into Koi pond,” complete with a misleading tweet from reporter Veronica Rocha that only shows the Trump dumping the entire box of food. Her footage is conveniently edited to skip Abe doing the same thing.
IN fact, Abe dumped his entire box of fish food into the pond and Trump followed while the Prime Minister of Japan smiled. However, the anti-Trump media has been cropping the video to only show Trump’s actions.
Quote:Bloomberg White House correspondent Justin Sink tweeted that Trump and Abe were “spooning fish food into the pond” when Trump “decided to just dump the whole box in for the fish.” The problem with the attempt to paint Trump as an animal-abusing, lazy America is that Japan's Prime Minister did the exact same thing seconds before.
BuzzFeed News ran a story headlined, “This photo of Trump dumping his carp food in a pond in japan has become a huge meme,” and embedded a series of Japanese tweets mocking the president. The Guardian even ran a story about the dangers of overfeeding fish.
“White House reporters, keen perhaps to pick up on a Trump gaffe, captured the moment when he upended his box on their smartphones and tweeted evidence of his questionable grasp of fish keeping,” The Guardian wrote. “Some speculated that a poor palace employee would be dispatched to the scene to clean up the mess as soon as the two leaders disappeared inside.”

Is this something we should really be concerned about?

You aren't worried that the news media isn't truthful?
Wow. Says a lot about you.
Not when it comes to whether or not Trump fed fish incorrectly.
I mean come on. Who really cares?
If they'll go to the effort to lie about something as insignificant as feeding fish then what's stopping them from lying about something more serious?
Nothing is stopping them I guess.
As far as I know, news outlets can spin stories however they see fit.
Are you suggesting we should have some sort of law in place to change that?
No, I'm saying that what has happened should happen. When news media blatantly lies to advance an agenda it should be publicly exposed and their credibility should be called into question from then on.

Maybe they should rename themselves the Clinton News Network. They are as big a batch of liars as the Clintons. Just outright compulsive. Lying even when it really doesn't matter.

The Japanese guy throws some of his box in the water and Trump dumps the entire box into the water.
So what was fake about that?
Did they doctor the video?
The leftist media initially edited the videos to show both spooning the food in, then cut out Abe dumping the food and only showed Trump dumping his in attempt to make it seem Trump was being foolish.
It was blatant dishonest reporting. If you don;t have a problem with that it says a ton about you and your character.

It is publicly exposed all the time.
I've been posting about Fox's fake news for years. You never seemed concerned about that.
