"Some Russians" being people he understood to be lawyers working for the Russian government He also went to that meeting with Trumps son-in-law, and his campaign manager who is literally being charged with about a dozen felonies. At this meeting, Trumps son has also admitted that Russian sanctions were discussed. Furthermore, we also now know that Sessions was aware of Papadopolous's interest in Russia, with another Trump official approving of his trip to Russia to meet with Russian agents. Sessions denied any knowledge of Russian collusion or interest of collusion by Trumps campaign while testifying under oath in the Senate.
Quote: I'm sure Mueller will file charges soon if laws were broken though I doublt the Trump campaign was the first in American history to have an interest in dirt on its opponents.
Funding or trying to source harmful information on ones opponent is a far cry from reaching out for assistance from a foreign government, while also discussing sanctions against said government. You do grasp this, yes?
My grasp of all is this is quite clear, thank you. All I'm saying is that if you wish to die on this hilll while your party burns itself to the ground, have at it.
In the end, I believe you're going to be very disappointed.
Die on the hill of protecting our nation from becoming beholden to foreign interests? Sure, sounds like a good one to die on.
That being said, I don't think this will be Trumps undoing. It will be financial, fraud or money laundering or something similar.

Would any of these headlines bother you in the least?
King of Morocco agreed to donate $12 million to Trump's favorite charity and host a Melania Trump Initiative Summit only if Mrs. Trump attended an August meeting
Crown Prince of Bahrain (a “good friend” of the Melania Foundation) sought special access to Donald Trump via Secretary Tillerson
Trump's State Department has given Melania Foundation donors weapons deals
Trump Stae Department has approved transfer of 20 percent of U.S. Uranium to Russian Government, as the Melania Foundation took in $145 million in donations from investors of the deal

AP Story - How Russia Hacked the DNC

Inside story: How Russians hacked the Democrats’ emails
Russians also tried to hack the GOP, russians also put out a ton of bots to help drump up angst against trump...
We get it, Russians bad..
Do you get that they are equal opportunity bad?
Their bots did push anti-Trump narratives, but often the sort that most of america would disagree with. Fact is, a lot of the negative BLM and Antifa stuff is Russian. You can argue they're pushing anti-Trump ideas, but their motives are pretty clear if you're not being disingenuous. Furthermore, it completely ignores the fact it's been proven multiple, high level members of the Trump campaign reached out to Russian agents for this harmful material, with one meeting explicitly talking about the Russian sanctions.
Lulz
Yer just too much,
Kudos on the belly laugh...

Haha, a fill in the blank adventure! I get it, but others will accuse unproven, unsubstantiated, etc...

Sure, I'm not a huge fan of that sort of commingling, but I do grasp there are scenarios which the above things occurred without any true influence being peddled. However, if there is any evidence that she was peddling foreign influence, say if we knew she talked about sanctions in the hopes of procuring illegally acquired harmful information about her political opponents, throw the book at her.
This whole "BUT HILLARY" thing is tiresome. If you can prove she did something wrong, let's punish her accordingly. If what she did was immoral but not technically illegal, Trump should champion legislature which makes it illegal. But using it as "well other people do sketchy things too!" when we know for a fact that the Trump campaign met with Russian agents to get harmful information on Clinton and discussed sanctions while doing so is nothing but whataboutism at its worst. If they're both wrong, then let's hold them both accountable or at the very least prevent the same sorts actions being done again instead of just tweeting about her whenever facing scrutiny.

Quote:This whole "BUT HILLARY" thing is tiresome.
Why is it tiresome? What happened to "protecting our nation from becoming beholden to foreign interests"?
My point is that it is clear to everyone that Hillary sold influence to foreign interests, or at least used her position as Sec of State, former First Lady, and soon-to-be-coronated first woman evah to become president to pad her foundation's bank account. Would you not agree with the obvious? If not, it's you who is drinking the party koolaid, not me.
What Hillary did may not rise to the level of a crime, I don't know. I'm not an attorney. Nor do I know if what Trump's campaign did, or what Trump himself did, rises to the level of a crime. That's why there's a SP. Let him do his job instead of hyperventilating and running around screaming that the sky is falling on America.
My questions to you here are because I'm wondering if you were equally repulsed by Hillary's actions.....so much so that you couldn't bring yourself to support her? If not, then I call BS on your outrage about Trump. That's all. Take a deep breath Debbie.

I don't like the appearance of the things you listed above earlier, but I would need evidence to show those meetings were in fact nefarious before I assume they were. We have evidence of this Russian meeting being nefarious, discussing sanctions in a meeting set up with the purpose of gaining information harmful to a political opponent in fact. Show me similar evidence of those Clinton meetings and you'll find my opinion of them will change pretty rapidly.
But until then, equating them as if I should get equally upset by either is patently dishonest because it would be holding them to a different standard.

As my dad would have said, amazing.
Have you ever noticed that when a story breaks about famous person X harrassing a woman, that slowly but surely, or perhaps rapidly, others come forward to tell their story. Eventually, a clear pattern develops. Weinstein, see the pattern? Bill Clinton, see the pattern?
A very clear pattern of flaunting the law (as in it only applies to the little people), walking the grey line between legal and illegal, and using her position or positions to enrich herself and her family, has developed over the years with Hillary Clinton.
When Trump demonstrates to me a clear pattern of selling out the country for personal gain, I'll get pissed about it. To date, all I've seen him do is reverse so many trends that I viewed as sending the country down the tubes that I have absolutely falling in love with the man. I have absolutely fallen in love with his Orangeness.
To date he's shown a clear pattern of telling the elites where to get off, making liberal heads explode (like yours here), and doing his best to complete his campaign promise.
It's all good my friend.

It's all good my friend.
We know his campaign worked with Russian agents to gain illegally procured information on his American opponent, he is on track to outspend any president with much of that taxpayer money going directly to his own businesses, he has shared classified information with Russian diplomats, he has publicly and repeatedly attacked law enforcement agents and veterans who disagree with him, has belittled the entire judiciary and justice department because he is being investigated, and has now pushed a tax plan which would personally benefit him greatly despite his statements during the campaign saying he do otherwise.
If you haven't see any of this, it's because you don't want to.

Okay, I'll bite. What illegally procured information on his American opponent?

If anything in the rant above is illegal then he needs to be investigated and prosecuted. If not, then the left should just stfu about it and take it in the ass like the minority party is supposed to.
I hate DC and what it does to the country. DC hates Trump. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Get it?

Quote: Okay, I'll bite. What illegally procured information on his American opponent?
The phishing attack used to procure Clintons emails was illegal. They knew those emails were ill-gotten goods, and they wanted them. In discussions about gaining harmful information, they also talked about russian sanctions. These things occurred.
Quote: If anything in the rant above is illegal then he needs to be investigated and prosecuted. If not, then the left should just stfu about it and take it in the ass like the minority party is supposed to.
So the left should stay quiet about his explicit government graft? They should stay quiet while he attacks the families of veterans and veterans themselves? While he attacks our law enforcement agencies for doing their job? While he pushes a tax plan which benefits him disproportionately? While he damages our international reputation by freely sharing classified information with Russia?
The absurd hypocrisy of this cannot be lost on you. The last 8 years was nothing but complaints about actions which pale in comparison, and yet you're actually going to act as if the role of the minority party is to "stfu about it and take it in the ass"? Why not be f*cking man about it and address those legitimate issues I raised?
