Yeah, well you went off and did it flagship... great work. The Big Pee has a clear measuring stick between the two conferences for the upcoming season. I'm hoping for a dead last finish out of UCONN in the AAC now to save face. The #4 preseason Pee pick dominating our last place team sits fine with me. So here's to you Corn Husks; here's to a long string of L's this season.
When your team doesn't even defend, it's time for a new coach.

WTF is wrong with people in Kansas. This was a charity exhibition for hurricane relief efforts. The final score doesn't matter based on that alone, but it especially doesn't matter when looking at how many new guys took the floor for UConn for the first time last night against an experienced Providence team.
I guess that I shouldn't expect much more from fans from the state that gave us the Westboro Baptist Church. Man, what a backwards place.
You're right - my bad. This was a UCONN CHARITY exhibition. Your performance was quite charitable with respect to Providence's needs. You should be commended for laying down like you did. Someone should have let Providence in on that theme though as they looked like all they came to do was... eat.
UCORN to the Big Pee makes a lot of sense. The Catholic church has nothing on UCORN's benevolent nature especially as it relates to helping others on the basketball court. Furthermore, if the rest of the world would exhibit only a modicum of the love and kindness UCORN displayed in their meaningless charity match, world peace could be attained in a matter of days.
UCORN HUSK CHARITIES

Oh please. If UConn would have pasted Providence by 30, we’d have UConn fans here talking Final Four.
Westboro has like 15 church members and is located in Topeka about 20 minutes from KU’s campus if you wanted to make a more accurate generalization.
Don’t get so bent out of shape. It’s not our fault the game wasn’t even freaking competitive, unless since it was an “exhibition”, that’s what UConn was looking for.
Actually, it we pasted Providence by 30, UConn fans would still acknowledge that it is still meaningless.
Unlike Wichita fans, UConn fans "act like they have been there before". We only thump our chests based on where we stand at the END of the season, not on some silly preseason rankings or the results of meaningless exhibition games.
Instead of acting like you've been there before why not play like you've been there before. This is the first UCORN exhibition loss in 25 years. How's that for a measuring stick?

This in NO WAY, SHAPE, or FORM is an indication of ANYTHING regarding Uconn's team, how they will do this year or how they will finish.

Don't lump us all in with Cold and WBC ... both are crazy in their own ways.
I'll put you down in the "good effort" camp then. Certainly not a crazy opinion.

I agree! Only straight up from here for the 'corns!
I'm probably being overly harsh. The Providence Friars are a lock for the national championship this year anyway. You don't come out against a juggernaut like that without a few bumps and bruises. It was a close game.

Just curious...what do you do all day that you're able to dedicate so much time to this board? It's the opposite of happy IMO.

Wichita State fans seem to have a lot of opinions for a school that has never won anything noteworthy on the hardwood.

Christian Vital is probably the only one.
I mean Terry Larrier averaged under 7 points a game and shot 34% @ VCU. Is he actually a good player? I remember UC fans being so excited about Jermaine Lawrence a couple of years back (he was a five star), but the dude was terrible. Jalen Adams is clearly talented but you keep on wanting more. Other than Gilbert (and we have no clue how good he is), the rest of the roster is filled with guys that were not priority recruits for top 25-40 programs. There 2018 recruits look to be much of the same, although the PG from California looks impressive.
Has Ollie pulled in a single top 150 type talent that turned out to be a stud? I can't think of one and that speaks so much to his abilitiy (or lack thereof) to identify and develop under the radar guys.
I was able to translate the above post. It reads....."I hate UCONN because a UCONN fan called me a meany-head when I was 10."

Confined to a computer more like. I'm currently posting at a clip of 5.69/day which is a couple handles above my lifetime average. You are witnessing a C0|db|00ded tail event. Expect a reversion to the mean soon.
Coincidentally, I consider my posting efforts similar to UCORN basketball in that it's a charitable exercise. Both of us should be getting a tax write-off.

Anyway, it would be nice to be able to pull for the Shockers success in out of conference play and in the NCAA Tourney this season as fellow members of the AAC, but you are making that awfully hard to do at this point.

It's almost as if you resorted to that lame rebuttal because you can't refute a single thing I said in that post....
But I'm sure you're super happy with that roster of non shooters and a barren front court that Clark is going to bend over (again).

Stop being so sensitive Francis. You're dealing with a professional here. If you have internal weakness I will expose it. Now GROW UP!
The rules are simple: Curse your program when it ***** up and laud it when it overachieves.
Pro tip: Stop talking about the game with Providence as if it's meaningless; understand the implications; admit that it sucks that you didn't show well, then go back to shamelessly promoting your program with impunity.
