10/15 bowl projections
Still lots of football to play but here you go. There's 2 guys projecting on these from ESPN:

New Orleans Bowl
USM vs UL Lafayette
Marshall vs Arkansas St

You may feel different, but I'm fairly confident we will not be matched up with Army in a bowl game. Our boxing series is currently 1-1, with the rubber match to be played in Denton on November 18th. There is no way I see a fourth game happening just a month later.

I'll be watching the Big12 closely. Personally, I think we have a chance to step in and fill their obligation to the HOD.

Not sure why they would leave UAB out. The way they've been playing i see them winning at least 7 total and possibly 9 games on the season.

And I'm sure the fine folks from Ruston are "thrilled" 03-puke at the prospect of traveling 800 miles (12 hours) to face UL Monroe

From an attendance point for myself having FAU in the Boca Bowl is ideal. Ill be able to easily go.

From a marketing standpoint its not good. If FAU is in another bowl our name gets out there twice. Once for the team game and then once for the Boca Bowl.

This is more like it. But, I think the BIG10 has a much better chance of filling the bowl then the BIG12.

Gasparilla: Marshall
UAB, WKU, and one or both of MTSU/FIU find a spot somewhere else.

For Tech, I'd much rather the I-Bowl or New Orleans Bowl, but unless something changes we might be headed west. If we do I hope we play Fresno so we can beat them once more for good measure.

WKU vs. UofL in Independence Bowl, yes please....We would probably get killed but at lest would be interesting with plenty of storylines for that one....WKU vs. Army would be ugly with not many headlines...

Those look pretty good but swap LaTech/NT. Armed Forces is obligated to take Army this year if they are bowl eligible, and they will be. No way we want to play them 4 times in 2 years.
